So strangulation is very personal and close - and takes a long time. It is very painful. GP certainly fought back. I hope she scratched BL up really good to get a strong DNA match. This just pisses me off all over again.
Fmr. Philadelphia police commissioner Charles Ramsey was just on CNN and said that the parents of BL need to go before a grand jury now to lock in their testimony. He said that law enforcement was basically messing around with them and wasting time until the grand jury happens.
Also, how does...
Catching up for the day. This case is ridiculous and frustrating! Each day I think "today the Feds will get Brian" and apparently today isn't that day... again.
So Laundrie left his parent's home Tuesday and didn't take his phone or wallet. Phone, okay, he didn't want to be traced. Wallet... no ID, no money, etc. Planning to off himself?
Right - but how would NG and JW know the manner of death? I can't imagine the FBI sharing the information with anyone who didn't need to know... especially TV personalities. Seems odd.
"Just In" to CNN
Neighbor tells CNN she law saw BL the weekend of Sept. 10.
Report on now.
ETA - no dive team requested today at the Carlton Reserve, either.
Moab, UT police are investigating how the DV / 911 call response was handled. Did we know this? CNN was reporting on it a few minutes ago. Perhaps a silver lining here that the police force in that area is getting updated domestic violence response training.

"We have just obtained from Moab City Police the witness statement from a man who saw Gabby and Brian fighting on Aug. 12."
Yes and then Jeff Ruby offered a nice reward and suddenly pulled it back after the drug revelations. He got some threats if I remember correctly. I've also found it odd that the reward is still only $10k. A tiny amount for such a big crime. People don't want to touch or talk about this one...
I'm still baffled at how little national coverage this story received. It was on CNN the day the murder happened and through that weekend... and then nothing. The story vanished from local news as well (I'm in the local news area).
I don't know why exactly. Because the family is poor...
