Yes, she was divorced.
Parabon does not claim to be able to predict noses. We only predict traits we believe we can have high confidence about based on the genetic results from the SNP panel we use.
This case is going to be covered on Hulu's "Wild Crime" series, Season 2. The production will apparently reveal a lot of information about this case that has not previously been public.

With each season, Wild Crime explores a different true crime...
IIRC, those call boxes were always free in SoCal. I am sure they saved lives. It is too bad they are removing them since some may not have a working cell phone when they need help. I can understand why they would, however, since that scenario may be relatively rare nowadays.
This is a groundbreaking case that involved extracting the suspect's DNA from a rootless hair (as reported in this People Mag article). Astrea Forensics did that innovative labwork, which then allowed me to do the genetic genealogy analysis. While there have been a couple of other successful IDs...
Of course. I have done everything in my power to help her. I want to honor her privacy though so I can't share too much without her permission and she is, understandably, very private.
I have been working with Monica for many years. Hers is my only longterm unresolved unknown parentage case. I believe we have made some progress, but the people involved are deceased so it has not been possible to get any solid resolution for her, unfortunately.
Thank you for everyone's care and attention to this case. Since I am not a verified insider, I am not sure my post will stay up, but I wanted to let you know, I carefully read everything posted here while working on her genetic genealogy. Although, she did not turn out to be any of the missing...
Thank you and you are so right about being able to keep cases like Haley's from going cold thanks to IGG.
You never know what is already being worked on so I hope that case already has been. Some of these cases can take a very long time (while others take only a few hours!).
I would love to share details about the genetic genealogy related research when/if I am given permission to do so. I think I can say that it was definitely not an easy case, and October 4th is when I first presented my hypothesis to Dr. Vance and the investigators regarding her identity.
My comment trying to clarify the relationships was deleted due to lack of documented source, but as you can see from Dr. Vance's comment, I was the investigative genetic genealogist who developed the hypothesis that the Jane Doe in this case was Haley.
Hey guys, I don't mean to be a pest about this, but now that Haley finally has her name back, can everyone here please make sure they are spelling it correctly? It isn't Hayley - it is Haley. Thanks!
Edit to add: Thanks for the edits!
Thanks @Bit of hope. Yes, I do think there are many more cases like this one out there, and that is why we have so many unidentified Does, and so little success overall in connecting them to known Missing Person profiles. In the UID cases in which I have been involved with successful...
Thanks for all the input about the roll-up doors. I can't help but go over and over it all in my head, wishing there had been other alternatives for those trying to escape. Since people had time to text their loved ones, they would have had time if only...
Going back to the person who...
First let me say, I have been following this fire since right after it happened and was so sorry to hear that Gitana1 had a family member there. I had read about Jennifer and was already familiar with her story when I came over to WS and discovered the connection. Please accept my deepest...
I have to say that his news has definitely confirmed my suspicions. When the original leak came from Derek of Taman Shud fame, I figured Colleen was the one who had solved it since I know that they have worked together in the past. I wanted to give her the benefit of the doubt, but clearly Akoya...
