I wonder how the killer exited the crime scene. From what I can tell with the new information, the crime scene is at least 1000ft from any public road, which is about a 4 minute walk (obviously shorter if running). The crime scene is not that close to the parking lot (as I thought before some of...
I am not sure if we know as a fact that the bodies were moved post-mortem. I believe someone in this forum said that the son of the Reids posted stated this on reddit but I could not find this. Can someone clarify this? If some relative or other insider is following this thread and believes that...
I hope so too, but it is probably impossible to check the more obscure forums, because I am sure there are many of them. Hate groups do post a lot on social media platforms, web sites etc. Especially those that are poorly moderated. But they somewhat try to stay within legal boundaries. I found...
In this video
Tips pour in following mysterious murder of a husband and wife in Concord, New Hampshire
the reporter pinpoints where the Reids were found. I am not sure how accurate he is. I think where he points would be more than 50 feet from where the trail hits the forest.
The khaki pants may be a rabbit hole, but it is not just the khaki pants. The POI was also wearing a dark blue jacket or hoodie. This is the combination worn by hate groups such as "NSC-131" and "Patriot Front". It seems that NSC-131 wear jackets that are closer to black, and Patriot Front wears...
I am starting to believe that this may not have been a random act with all the new information.
I think that the backpack contained the weapon and/or magazines. This was not a person going to park for a stroll and running into people he hates. From the description, the POI does not look like a...
I think that is an excellent observation. It seems that hate groups do have dress codes. I don't know how accurate it is, but here is some guide:
Decoding the Language of Extremist Clothing
The khaki pants are often seen with these hate groups.
Of course, it may be a coincidence that this POI...
From the news articles (see below) it is clear that law enforcement was looking for electronic devices with storage at the crime scene.
I wonder, why is law enforcement looking for electronic storage devices at the crime scene?
According to their son, the Reids left their phones at home. What...
I think that robbery is a possible motive. I can imagine the following scenario:
To reach the trials, the Reids likely would have crossed the parking lot of the park on Portsmouth St. From video images it appears that the police searches have been close to this parking lot. Also, I believe that...
Regarding the possibility of a hate crime:
I have mentioned some hate groups that are active in the New England area such as the Nationalist Social Club or NSC-131 is the Brotherhood of White Warriors.
The BOWW is a white supremacist prison gang, but is also active outside of prison.
It was...
I was wondering about the exact path the Reids took in their walk. I presume they didn't walk on the public roads, but took a shortcut. Looking at satellite images, it seems that you can walk directly from Alton woods through the power-line cleared area to the highway bridge over portsmouth rd...
I brought up another hate crime that happened in 2013, and I was looking into whether there could be a connection.
On July 31, 2012, Donald Jackson Freese III and Joshua Kyle Peno, yelled a racial slur at an African-american man,
pulled him from his moped and beat him up. The assault was...
You are right that the Reids don't seem to be high profile. If the motive was related to their work with refugees, then it likely would have been someone local. Refugees were placed within Concord, even the same neighborhood where the Reids lived. There may be a violent person
that was strongly...
According to a source on refugees in Concord, NH:
Concord — Refugees in Towns
"“Housing for immigrants and New Americans is concentrated on the Heights and Loudon Road,” said Barbara Seebart, State Refugee Coordinator at the New Hampshire Department of Health and Human Services (NHDHHS)."...
There are various possible motives, but one direction I would like to look further into is the possibility of a hate crime.
Possible reasons for why the Reids might be a target of a hate crime are:
-they are an interracial couple
-they were involved in integration of immigrants
If this is a...
The killing was out in the open, and I think that means that the perpetrator was comfortable in the area. I think the killer lives close, perhaps even a neighbor of the couple. As for motive, I am leaning towards a hate crime or at least a person that hated the couple for some reason.
A) Kim has never been accused or mentioned as a suspect or person of interest, so it just seems wrong to suggest she is involved in Julia's murder.
B) I don't think Kim would cover for JT if she knew he was involved. Now that Kim and JT are divorced,
she has even less reason to cover JT.
C) I...
The pillow case was black and white zebra striped (Julia loved zebra print). It is somewhat unusual,
so besides a carrying thing it may also have been taken as a "trophy".
I just checked my notes from some time ago. This is what was missing to the best of my knowledge:
a pillowcase the apartment key and room key from the lanyard
top of 3 sterilite drawers (the other 2 contained panties and swimsuits)
not exactly sure what it contained
probably panties that...
