I agree. Seems there should have been some sort of alert issued, after all, a responsible, 14 year old child, went missing! What’s the harm? IMHO

So, if LE was notified at 1030PM Monday night, you would think they would have driven down Central and noticed the bicycle. They should have patrolled that area all night. Does this mean the body and bicycle were placed there shortly before 9:00 AM?

Agreed! The whole thing is very bizarre. From the beginning, the account of the disappearance didn’t make sense to me. Sadly, my first thought was he went out to meet someone <modsnip> and something went wrong. Hope LE has something to say tomorrow.

Living in the area, I thought it odd this young man would head out after dark on a school night, on a bicycle. It’s a heavily traveled road, so hoping someone saw something and will come forward.

From the beginning, I have thought the investigation should be focused on those who stood to profit from this crime. It’s the most obvious choice. IMHO
