I was just addressing your statement about seeking justice and accountability when a perp isn't found guilty in a criminal trial. In my opinion we don't know that the Laundries withheld any information about Gabby's death from the Petito family. JMO

Chris and Roberta Laundrie were deposed last October. It's where the "gone" statement came from. Not sure if further depositions will reveal more evidence. There may be things in the Laundries deposition that we don't know about which could help the Petitos at trial...

So lets say the Laundries asked BL what happened to Gabby. Did he answer their questions or refuse to talk about it? If he did answer those questions did he answer them truthfully? Or did he lie and make up a story that absolved him from harming her. I watch a lot of police body cam videos...

So far I haven't seen enough evidence that shows the Laundries had the information that the Petito family is suing over. The admission by BL that Gabby was "gone" is just too vague for me. If this case goes to trial perhaps more evidence will be shown that will change my mind. JMO.
