The fact that it is extremely easy to change the date and time, do a search and change the time back combined with the fact that the files and timestamps on the computer do not look like "normal" operations along with a computer that was not properly handled makes the evidence less than crystal...
I don't think enough information was really provided by either side to say the files were or were not tampered with in any way . In everything I have seen the discussions have all been around comparing the timestamps to each other and all timestamps being compared seem to be SIA timestamps. It...
Yes CPD through Det. Thomas with CCBI had cellibrite and something else maybe FTK. They were used on the blackberry when Det. JY turned it over AFTER wiping the phone and sim.
Of course going through the timeline presented by BL it appears the sim was actually not wiped until after the...
I find it interesting that WRAL chose to clip the interview for their sound bites to make it seem as though Kurtz is simple pointing at LE planting evidence. It has clearly worked with the BDI crowd. If you listen to the actual interview or read the entire article you clearly see that is not...
Maybe that's because BOZ and his crew preferred twitter. His "protege" was reading and posting and BOZ himself was captured on video reading the twitter #coopertrial hashtag.
The prosecution also made reference to weblseuths on several occasions in court. To act as though somehow the...
I don't think that is what he was saying. I read it as concerns over future handling of cases like this one with digital evidence, secret forensic methods, etc.
I think what actually won the guilty verdict was CPD continuously planting the thought that they could never rule BC out as a suspect. I think the jury felt the same way, they couldn't rule him out. Unfortunately that is not the burden of proof and that is what to me is upsetting about the result.
You are entitled to your opinion and thank you for sharing it. I disagree. Keep in mind I didn't say somebody else did it. I said there are enough loose ends that shouldn't have been left untied.
So my feelings about this whole case all along has been that there should have been a better investigative job. I really never was able to get off the fence and still truly don't have the answers that wold let me get off the fence in one direction or the other. There are 2 main things that...
I think there were a lot of things handled really poorly in this case.
I think the jury did what they were asked to and what they felt in their heart based on what was presented. I think it had to be difficult either way.
I think the judges narrative at the end was interesting as was...
I don't like dairy in my smoothies. I make a fruit/veggie smoothie and eat my greek yogurt on the side.
1/2 banana, 1 c. frozen blueberries, 1 c. spinach, 1/2 c. fruit juice, 1/2-3/4 c. water, 1-2 T Ground Flaxseed
Plenty of energy to keep up with stressful trial days :great:
The past few months the availability of organic coupons has gotten so much better! I think there is finally enough competition among brands to make coupons happen. My little one is on a special diet so we are a mostly organic, fresh food household as well. Mambo Sprouts has helped our budget...
The first part of the paragraph you quoted is eerily familiar:
Lamb, writing boastfully in The Journal of Child Sexual Abuse, said that they made sure that jurors would not see how the "disclosures" were made, just that they would only read what social workers wrote down.
JY only made...
I think the deposition is a double edged sword. Some say they will see all of BC lies. I would challenge that most of those "lies" would only be considered lies if you find the state's witnesses to be credible.
I know people here often like to bring up other cases to point out similarities to this one (young, abaroa, the various petersons) so along that same line of thinking I think the trial of the Edenton Seven deserves a look as well. You may find some very disturbing similarities...
