I'm trying to figure out why the fiancé took his clothes off before helping her give birth on the floor...maybe to keep them clean so he could wear them afterwards? Need more details! At least the birth went well and they have a "little nugget" to love!

The emergency vehicle activity at the senior facility is concerning. Seems likely that Covid and/or flu cases are increasing there. I'd guess that many of the residents are not adequately vaccinated, so they are ending up in the hospital. Sigh.

I love Waldorf salad but haven't made it for quite a while. I don't have any celery or grapes at the moment, but I could maybe substitute fennel and raisins. The slivers of the fennel bulb are nice and crunchy in green salads.
So I'm in NC, and they claim "biscuit" is the most popular side. ??? Where are they getting their data? Some favorites around here are sweet potato or winter squash casserole, mashed potatoes, green beans, cranberry sauce, stuffing. Sometimes fruit salad or roasted root veggies. Just writing...
