Still Missing Australia - Leisl Smith, 23, Wallarah, NSW, 19 Aug 2012 *arrest in 2019*

If JC had been found guilty today, Leisl would be considered to be a victim of a violent crime, rather than a long term missing person. Her family would have been entitled to the victim support scheme in NSW. They have been robbed of this, too. What a travesty.

Still Missing Australia - Leisl Smith, 23, Wallarah, NSW, 19 Aug 2012 *arrest in 2019*

The trial had finished, there were no witnesses left to call, no evidence yet to be presented. This feels very wrong to me. As if Leisl hadnt been robbed of enough, now there is this. I cant imagine her families pain.

Australia Australia - Marion Barter, 51, missing after trip to UK, June 1997 #10

I havent heard the call, but early in the podcast Sally said that the search that eventually happened after the crimestoppers call was in a specific area off the bike track near the university in Armidale. I am pretty sure I know where this is, down to a few paddocks. The address, never...

Australia Australia - Marion Barter, 51, missing after trip to UK, June 1997 #7

I agree. They were on the right track, as far as the name and the country, but there was no evidence that the old man who was doorstopped was the person they were looking for. He was treated very poorly. Sally is a desperate daughter, but the media team around her should have far more...

    Australia - JS, 32 y.o. man, charged w/ murder of 9 y.o. girl , Mt Wilson, 13 January 2022

Highly unlikely, I was just clutching at a reason you would send your child off for a few days.

‘Grave revelations’ in missing woman case The trial of a man accused of murdering his former girlfriend who vanished from the NSW Central Coast has been delayed again after a court was told of “grave revelations” relevant to the case. Really? How long can this drag on?

    Australia - JS, 32 y.o. man, charged w/ murder of 9 y.o. girl , Mt Wilson, 13 January 2022

Completely out there and left of centre, but I recently had a covid test that took 3 days to come back. If KM had a covid test, then by the rules she wouldn't have been allowed to go out anywhere. Could JS have taken the child until mum got her result? If she had a test because she was feeling...

Still Missing Australia - Leisl Smith, 23, Wallarah, NSW, 19 Aug 2012 *arrest in 2019*

According to the online registry, there are 2 weeks set aside for JCs trial in the Sydney Supreme Court, beginning 24 January. Smack bang in the middle, are two mentions relating to an AVO- one in Inverell, one in Moree. Not a great look to be up against an AVO in the middle of your murder...

Australia Australia - Passy Reyes, 18, Mona Vale, NSW, 18 Jul 2001

I have heard Passy's story a number of times over the years, and I always thought that the stress of the HSC had pushed her to suicide. However, after listening to the podcast, I wonder. She was born in Mexico before moving to Australia. When she was abducted by her father, it was with fake...

Australia Australia - Passy Reyes, 18, Mona Vale, NSW, 18 Jul 2001

The NSW police have created a podcast about Passy. ‎NSW Police State Crime Command – Investigations: Case: Passy Reyes on Apple Podcasts I didnt realise she had been kidnapped as a child. Very complex story. I cant imagine her mother and brothers pain.

My understanding is that the allegations came out three months ago, but she fronted court with the related charges this week. She was formally charged with conspiring to pervert the course of justice.

We must have been typing at the same time! Great find. I do believe the container to be a very deliberate choice.

Australia Australia - Marion Barter, 51, missing after trip to UK, Jun 1997 #4

I find the shipping container really interesting. If Marion was planning on coming back to buy a unit, a storage unit would have been easier. A shipping container is either rented or purchased, and is easily transportable, although not always cheaply. Had Marion found work overseas, she could...

Australia Australia - Marion Barter, 51, missing after trip to UK, Jun 1997 #4

I dont know much about shipping containers- would someone usually buy one, or rent it? Would Marion have had to purchase the shipping container?

Australia Australia - Marion Barter, 51, missing after trip to UK, Jun 1997 #4

The shipping container to me is the key. Find the container, find out what happened. It was shipped somewhere, and is on someones land. I find it interesting that Marion's son in law thought Marion wouldnt be streetwise enough to change her name by deedpoll. She had changed her name numerous...
