Found Deceased Australia - Samuel Thompson, 22, Albion, Qld, 7 March 2017 *Arrests* #1

In Sydney an ounce would cost $300-350. There are 35 ounces in a kilo. I've no idea what kilos are worth, but if your numbers are correct it seems he could have done $60k deals easy.

DC - Savvas Savopoulos, family & Veralicia Figueroa murdered; Daron Wint Arrested #4

Unfortunately I can't find the article where I read this, but apparently it was a tip left in the envelope on the porch.

DC - Savvas Savopoulos, family & Veralicia Figueroa murdered; Daron Wint Arrested #4

So true. It's amazing what doors affluence opens. Normal rules and procedures just don't apply. I'm actually a bit surprised he couldn't get more cash at short notice...

DC - Savvas Savopoulos, family & Veralicia Figueroa murdered; Daron Wint Arrested #4

Thanks Just K :) I read here when I can but often don't have much to add to the discussion. Also, I don't blame you, sometimes I wonder how and why I ended up in an EA role. When asked to explain what I do, my husband replies it's like a mix between 'Wall Street' 'the Devil Wears Prada' and...

DC - Savvas Savopoulos, family & Veralicia Figueroa murdered; Daron Wint Arrested #4

No, I don't think it sounded like he was either. My post was in reply to a query about salary of "personal driver/assistant". Blurred lines or not, there's a huge difference between the two roles so I split them up and answered as best I could given my experience. I didn't mean to give the...

DC - Savvas Savopoulos, family & Veralicia Figueroa murdered; Daron Wint Arrested #4

Depends on what kind of work. Calls don't require space. Laptops, well, they sit on your lap. If you need space to spread out paper, you aren't doing that in a car regardless of it's size. Many offices are paperless these days anyway.

DC - Savvas Savopoulos, family & Veralicia Figueroa murdered; Daron Wint Arrested #4

I've been an Executive Assistant for around 15 years and worked for some very wealthy individuals ie net worth ranging from 100m - 10b+. In Australia the average wage for a corporate C-suite Executive Assistant is around $100k + benefits. From what I understand (having worked for an American...

    AZ AZ - Allison Feldman, 31, Scottsdale, 18 Feb 2015 #3

I can't think of anything else that makes sense... If the alarm was de/activated it might also explain why LE have yet to officially clear the bf. I assume he would know the code.

    AZ AZ - Allison Feldman, 31, Scottsdale, 18 Feb 2015 #3

Hi all, been lurking here for awhile but first post (forgive me if the below has already been discussed!) If the perp wasn't actually seen leaving by the neighbors camera, could another explanation be that the time frame had something to do with her alarm? The alarm company would have records...

The Phone Calls in the early morning of Dec.18, 2013 (both PayPhone & cells)

OT but I want to read this book! This kind of happened to me, a long time ago too, well before social media. I went to a sports game with a friend and at some stage opened my wallet to get cash out. 6 weeks later I received a call from the guy who was sitting next to me. We didn't talk at...

GUILTY DC - David Messerschmitt, 30, murdered in Washington hotel room, 9 Feb 2015 #1

I have previously worked in hotel management, and these days travel a lot. For the past 7 years I have spent 10-15 nights in hotels per month. These hotels have been both domestic and international, corporate and boutique, for both business and pleasure. Room deposits are always run at the...

    VA - Hannah Elizabeth Graham, 18, Charlottesville, 13 Sept 2014 - #5

totally agree with your whole post, but especially the above. i've told 'white lies' to excuse my whereabouts before... usually when i feel i may get in trouble for the real reason i'm not where i'm supposed to be! for instance if i slept in on a weekday i'd more than likely text the boss...

    VA - Hannah Elizabeth Graham, 18, Charlottesville, 13 Sept 2014 - #3

THIS. x100000000 I hate to imagine what video footage of my drunken university antics would have "looked like" if I were to have gone missing. Much, much, MUCH worse than Hannah's. Even on a Tuesday (any Tuesday!). And I was tame compared to many others in my year. Horrifying now, but at...

    GUILTY NH - AH, 14, North Conway, 9 October 2013 - #13

Also off topic but just wanted to mention that in my hometown - Christchurch, New Zealand - there is a pedestrian mall built entirely out of shipping containers. It was a quick rebuild solution when the city was destroyed by an earthquake but has since become an attraction in itself. It's...

    The Crown v Gerard Baden-Clay, 7th July - Trial Day 15

Not at all, I wasn't meaning to single you out sorry, there just seemed to be several posts about how I seem to walk abnormally fast. I was just trying to offer a different perspective in that if Allison walked at my pace that distance wouldn't have necessarily have taken her as long as some...

    The Crown v Gerard Baden-Clay, 7th July - Trial Day 15

And again, it's obviously quite variable. 5km/hour would be a stroll for me, I wouldn't consider that brisk at all, but am aware that a lot of people would think that was quite fast. Racewalkers who average 14km/hour would think my pace is slow. Normal is relative. Anyhoo time to go back to...

    The Crown v Gerard Baden-Clay, 7th July - Trial Day 15

Call me esca-bear  I just edited my above post and will also edit this to say exercise walking speeds and what everyone thinks is 'normal' is clearly quite variable... the only person who could've told us what was 'normal' for Allison is likely Allison herself...

    The Crown v Gerard Baden-Clay, 7th July - Trial Day 15

I walk for exercise, generally 6-8km per weekday and it takes me around 1 hour. On the weekends I go for longer walks, between 12-15km which takes me around 2 hours. My route has quite a few hills, some very steep. I also have a dodgy ankle which occasionally slows me down. If Allison...
