Peru - Stephany Flores, 21, murdered in Lima hotel room, 30 May 2010 #1

How do you know Natalie wasn't the first kill that sparked this predator instinct? He had to start somewhere.

GUILTY NJ - Carl Mirasola, 43, shot to death in his Butler home, 22 May 2010

The latest in her defense and her bail hearing. This surprising murder happened about 2 miles north of where I work in a decent community of solidly working class folk, low crime, majority of them home-owning, beautiful woodland mountain town - salt of the earth kind of place...

    Motive For Murder

I believe he had an obsession with Annie. Back in the early 90s, I worked with a married woman who (unbeknownst to the rest of the office) was attracted to a single guy in the office. At a work party, the guy casually started talking about this new woman he was dating. The married woman got...

Police Surround Clark in Cromwell hotel room; Countdown to Arrest 3..2..1

It might have been the only thing he could think of at the moment that she would have responded to. Perhaps they had "shared" a prior conversation on cage cleanliness and he was building off that?

    Motive For Murder

I agree completely. I would add that cold-blooded killers when ready to kill already feel in control and never need anyone to reliquish control to them to murder. To the other poster's point though, her mere presence alne as small, slight woman could give him a greater feeling of control...

CT- Annie Le, missing from Yale, thread #7 FOUND DECEASED

I'd expand that even further. I know many people of all races who each have married someone of a separate race. Pretty much all combinations, too. It's not really an uncommon thing in the world as perhaps it used to be a few decades back.

CT- Annie Le, missing from Yale, thread #7 FOUND DECEASED

I understand your confusion. But you must leave your dictionary behind to continue... The Connecticut legislature is redefining the word "strangle" so that there is now either a lethal or a non-lethal actus reus to the crime of strangling. I suppose the legislature preferred the word strangle...

CT- Annie Le, missing from Yale, FOUND DECEASED Thread #6

With regards to dealing with evidence in court, 5 days for a body to lie hidden in a work environment is a complicated thing for a District Attorney to work out for the jury. It's definitely something a proficient DA can address effectively, but a significant gap of time does not help any case.

CT- Annie Le, missing from Yale, thread #5 FOUND DECEASED

LE has their guy. He isn't going anywhere. There must be some last minute anticipatory court issues that are preventing the ME's report from being released. I would imagine they are nailing down evidence issues, alibi, privacy rights of the suspect, etc. to get a lock-down on the criminal case...

CT- Annie Le, missing from Yale, thread #5 FOUND DECEASED

The person you are writing about was very civil and asking only a clarification. There was no rudeness, no accusations. On the other hand, I found your response to be inappropriate to his/her polite tone.

You are an amazing person. I definitely feel your frustration over what was not done. I cannot imagine how tough all of that must have been then. How strong you are. Thank you again for telling your incredible tale. It is good for clueless folks like me to know these important things.

Yes. Thank you very much for opening up. I am truly sorry for what must have been one of the most devastating things a spouse or anyone really could have to endure. You seem to have survived pretty much intact if much wiser for the experience. I'm curious as to how your ex-husband knew this...

CT- Annie Le, missing from Yale, thread #5 FOUND DECEASED

OMG - what a horrible story!!! How did you get through it all? Did the stalkee know she was in danger? Were there any clues when you looked back at your life with him that he was capable of this? And how did you learn to trust again? What signs should someone look for to see if their significant...

I don't think it's Z. Only one person on that published paper has had their Bennett homepage yanked, although the Yale med page is still up. That might indicate guilt, or it just might be Bennett turning off their webpages/phones to not have to deal with constant press phone calls.
