I believe there are some maps and images in an earlier post. There was a small creek in the area where he went missing. They searched it multiple times. It wasn't a river. This case has stuck with me. I lived in Minnesota for eight years and had friends who lived in this general area.

Keep thinking outside the box, Bernina. Every idea is worth considering. To me, firearms makes the most sense given what we know about the suspect. CL is male, young, a Marine and a hunter. Guns would be the simplest choice for him. But the horse drug(s) possibility is intriguing.

BBM - Why would moving to Alaska put them out of reach for child support? We have a "Child Support Enforcement Agency" which is a State run department. They make sure parents pay child support. It doesn't matter if one parent lives in Alaska and the other one lives in another state. They...

Erin is very young. You have to remember she was 19 went she went missing. She's was still a teenager. Many times young girls fall in love and rush to get married but then when the thrill and attention are gone, the day-to-day stuff gets boring. If her husband was gone for part of the marriage...

The answer probably isn't simple but those are very good questions. Even though the terrain was difficult, there were many people out looking for Charli that first week. I've wondered about her cell phone from the beginning.

****GRAPHIC WARNING****** As horrible as it seems, Steven could have cut up Charli's body and disposed of it in pieces. The jawbone could have simply been overlooked in his haste. The area was full of dense brush and vegetation. Since Charli's dog was dropped off miles away, who's to say that...

I don't think he was hit by a car. He may not have even been near the road. One theory is that he started walking across some fields toward the lights of a nearby town. He was lost and not at all where he thought he was. His Dad would have been able to hear an approaching car. If I remember...

But the lack of the shower curtain is also important evidence. I think you're correct in that the body (& shower curtain) will most likely never be found.

Maybe he wasn't thinking clearly. Why did he leave all that kiddie *advertiser censored* in plain sight? Between the drugs and what probably happened to Kelly, his brain may not have been functioning normally. Just a guess but maybe the bathroom with the missing shower curtain was not one he used on a daily...

In the book Death Penalty Cases: Leading U.S. Supreme Court Cases on Capital Punishment By Barry Latzer, there is a short definition of that phrase. "The murder was especially heinous, atrocious, or cruel, manifesting exceptional depravity. As used in this section, the phrase...means a...

Kyron Horman's general discussion thread for 2014

From what I remember LE has some evidence. Just because there is some amount of evidence, doesn't mean there is enough proof to obtain an arrest warrant and/or prosecute someone for murder (especially without a body). Sometimes it can take LE 20 years to get enough evidence for a conviction...

Shared Stephanie's Facebook Page and the NBC Dateline link with all my Facebook friends and asked them to pass it on. While I'm not in Oregon, I do have many friends in the Pacific Northwest. Every little bit helps.

If he is ever stopped for anything (even a speeding ticket), he would be arrested on the Oregon warrants. LE would probably never pay to extradite him back to Oregon on those warrants but they could legally IMO. They might also let him sit in jail for a day or two while they made up their minds...
