To SCHMAE - this case/accused killer bothers me alot :tantrum: - because of the relationship I had with R & K years ago. I won't rest until the verdict is pronounced. My heart goes out to his family and his own children and then to the thousands of children in his ministry throughout the...
I thought I'd include yet another source to the updated court hearing on February 2, 2015.
Just to get another glance at this.

Let's just hope and pray that the LE were allowed to pick up ALL the FORENSIC evidence before all of those other things were placed in that pod. Still waiting for the date of this trial...it feels like a cloud over my head.

Just for the record, the picture in the article of November 19th is a "file picture" from the court activities in February 2014 after the Prosecution made their statement concerning the alleged "motive" of the murder.
Thank you for the info, From Germany
I haven't been keeping up with this story lately, and I'm not a member of his church, bt I found an article from the Christian Post that featured Hope Carpenter apologizing to RWOC congregation on July 27, 2014.
Here is the link...
So, with what Stiles said in June...do you have an update for us? Is the Grand Jury that tight that no one knows where this case has gone to? Inquiring minds want to know...Is there a trial set and when will we know...or will we know when the trial is set??
He joined another church after he left FBC of Birmingham, however, we do not know if he is allowed to go to church. Check out the link below...ref near the end of the article.

SMOOTH OPERATOR - I've had problems with the amount of time he was supposedly gone and the time of the murder too...and then I have a real problem with his stated "alibi" - his son!
You said..
IMO, I strongly believe that this large window of time will be of huge detriment to his defense...
Sorry...but just to set the record straight...Ruth Tucker lives up in Michigan with her husband. She does not live in Greenville. I've been following her blog too...on a personal level...sending e-mails back and forth.

The "boyfriend" motive was revealed only by the prosecutors at the time of the bond hearing. It was revealed that the "boyfriend" was made known only through the 3000 e-mails found in RS' computer. No one knows for sure if KS knew about it.
These pastors can hide anything from their wives...
I was not a member of WS when this case broke, but this case has haunted me since the very first day. Why?
Because I saw a man that fit the description of Tanko at the library of Mendenhall, MS the day after the incident with a little girl fitting the description of Lisa Irwin.
I called the...
He deleted all of those pictures the last week of December. I looked at all of those pictures on one day, and a few days later, decided to go back on...because I was "sleuthing" and all of the photos of Hope had disappeared...all of them, including the ones where she was teaching. I was rather...
Ok...after going through one week of this supposed "reconciliation", I was looking for more articles and blogs on Ron and Hope Carpenter. It seems that when all the "gushy stuff" is gone, then the media, including the religious magazines become silent or they only relay the news that was seen...
To answer your question...And just a quick challenge. Where in the bible does God command to give "seed" money in order to receive a miracle? "Seed" money is not tithes and offering. It is additional money to help move the hand of God.
I actually went to Biblegateway and put in those words...
I was believing something more sinister previously in my other posts, however, I tend to agree with all of you now...I saw the whole "message" in its' entirety.
I believe the "seed money" was all of $1000.00 though, but to throw a facet of the seed money in with their "restoration" was...
He did resign from his position... and normally, a resignation of a pastor from an SBC church gives him the freedom to join another church of his choice. I don't believe the church was helping him with his mission trip...it was the money that he raised himself that he was using for the mission...
Just to clarify the findings in this article...the investigation is now possibly suspecting law enforcement had something to do with the murders. Interesting.
This story was updated today. I know many of you have been following this...I just happened upon it because a friend of mine lives down in south Louisiana. Here is the link...http://www.wwltv.com/news/eyewitness/mikeperlstein/Jennings-8-242812251.html
