We have that option here in SC, too, but it's not considered homeschooling. There is a state run online school (I believe ours may be high school only) that provides a laptop, $ for Internet, etc, but it is actually a public school. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I'm a good 20 pages behind so this could have been answered already, but I would guess that her family does have property in FL. In her cruise review, she mentioned getting FL resident rates. (sorry no link, mobile atm)
