I get that the police can't search every house. I wouldn't expect that. But I wish after his suicide they had investigated his whereabouts while on the run and located this address. It wouldn't have saved Leah, but her family would have had answers years ago and maybe her brother would still be...
Also possible she visited a sexual assault referral centre (SARC) where evidence can be collected without a report to the police being made. What is a Sexual Assault Referral Centre (SARC)? | Rape Crisis England & Wales

Sturman suggests a tariff of 35-37 years for Couzens (who is 48) would amount to the same as a whole life sentence. #SarahEverard

Sturman is now arguing about whether Couzens posing as a police officer (when he was a police officer) should not be treated as an aggravating factor deserving of Whole Life #SarahEverard

Sturman says it was a "truly horrible crime" with "dreadful consequences" for Sarah's family. But he insists it does not deserve a whole life sentence #SarahEverard

Sturman says the family of Couzens were "staggered" by his "inexplicable" behaviour. He said it is to be hoped that therapy in prison might unlock the reasons why he did what he did. #SarahEverard

Sturman says Couzens used his own credit card to hire the car and did not seek to disguise himself. He says this is inconsistent with an intention to kill. He has admitted strangling her with the (police) belt #SarahEverard

Sturman says Couzens is filled with self-loathing and shame, "and he should be"...
I suppose any proof of whether he still was or wasn't into such material was erased when he reset his phone to factory settings and the search history disappeared. I wouldn't be surprised at all if he was.
Judge is now asking the prosecutor why he has omitted a section of his opening in which he referred to Couzens being "attracted to brutal and violent *advertiser censored*". #saraheverard

Sarah’s sister Katie also asked Couzens to look at her. Talking directly to him, whilst fighting back tears, she said:
“How dare you take her from me? Take away her hopes and dreams. Her life. Her future no longer exists. You have ruined so many lives.”...
