    Post verdict discussions #2

I notice there has been very little mention of Ian Walton lately. I know he was in court with the BCs early on in the trial. Perhaps he has gone back to Townsville. I think he is probably embarrassed about his "all will come out" speech - it all did come out, but probably not what he was...

The aftermath of the verdict *MERGED*

When I think about the behavior and demeanor of the BC clan - the BWANA number plate, the dead animal heads on the outside wall, the granny pash, the Elaine fruit bowl incident, the mustard jacket, etc. etc. etc. I have decided they should be now the BOGAN Clays, that is if they still want to...

The aftermath of the verdict *MERGED*

I am still of the opinion that the BC's house in Durness st. is rented by them. I know I was corrected by another poster a while ago,but I was told by a person whom I have complete faith in. We used to have an account with R.P.Data, but do not anymore, so I cannot look it up. Not that it...

The aftermath of the verdict *MERGED*

I have no doubt that if the appeal to the Court of Appeal here is not successful, he will apply to the High Court. What do others think? All on the public purse of course!

Who is GBC? An armchair psych discussion

I have no doubt that if his appeal does not succeed in the court of appeal, he will then apply to the High Court to hear his case. All on the public purse! What do others think?

    The Verdict Waiting Room

I agree! Alison's mum said in her evidence that she was disappointed that Alison and Gerard had not bought their own home. I believe the senior BCs are renting as well - so perhaps like father, like son.

    The Verdict Waiting Room

I don't know what happened, but only half of my post appeared, so I will continue. My heart goes out to Alison's family and friends. I did not know her but recognized her face as one I haveseen from time to time at Kenmore shops etc. I know GBC only from his regular column in the Bulletin...

    The Verdict Waiting Room

Now that things are quiet and we are all patiently waiting for THE VERDICT, I want to say that I am so glad I found Websleuths [accidently] about 18 months ago. I have been following but did not register until April this year because I did not think I could contribute any more than was being...

    The Crown v Gerard Baden-Clay, 8th July - Trial Day 16

As an aside, I have just come across this in the latest "News for seniors" magazine, under the heading "when to call 000. You should only call Triple Zero[000] if: Someone is seriously injured or in need of urgent medical help. your...

    The Crown v Gerard Baden-Clay, 8th July - Trial Day 16

Why ever would GBC be taking notes now? Doesn't he realize it is all over?

GBC Trial General Discussion Thread #4

No. He could have gone up Kilkivan Ave, along Aberfeldy st. and Aronia Stnto Brookfield rd. Bypassing the roundabout completely.

GBC Trial General Discussion Thread #4

I agree. I think he was afraid that TM would show Alison the email telling her he would be free by July 1. How could he possibly explain that ?

GBC Trial General Discussion Thread #4

Does anyone remember if Alison ever mentioned in her diary about GBC giving her his phone each night?

GBC Trial General Discussion Thread #4

I wonder if Michael Byrne Q.C. was aware of this?

    The Crown v Gerard Baden-Clay, 2nd July - Trial Day 14, Week 3

Isn't life mandatory now for murder. I may be wrong.

    The Crown v Gerard Baden-Clay, 2nd July - Trial Day 14, Week 3

From memory, I think the scout camp was mentioned by Mr. Fuller, but GBC replied that he was not familiar with it. Perhaps someone else can correct me. You would think Baden Powell's g. grandson would know every scout camp in Qld.!

    The Crown v Gerard Baden-Clay, 2nd July - Trial Day 14, Week 3

I.M.O. MOST of the jury would think he is guilty already, but I think a few will have doubts until the end. I hope not. I definitely think he is guilty . Can someone be convicted on a majority verdict in Qld. now?

    The Crown v Gerard Baden-Clay, 2nd July - Trial Day 14, Week 3

Getting back to the subject of the "roundabout", I.M.O. I do not think he would have travelled to Anstead that way - too many bright lights!. I think he would have turned right, passed the showground, turned into Rafting Ground Rd then along the short distance to Pullenvale Rd, then into...
