Cases possibly of interest for the LISK case

Interesting.. the property was transferred from Garth Lewis to Vladimir Cuevas, via the deed transferred from Garth Lewis after he died.. https://a836-acris.nyc.gov/DS/DocumentSearch/DocumentDetail?doc_id=2013090300236001

Cases possibly of interest for the LISK case

Agree..the article is confusing and doesn't seem to link the building ownership to any of this!! I find the following two points most interesting: "A person of interest in the grisly slaying of someone sources have said is a missing Brooklyn mother is known to have residences in New York City...

The "relief" i initially felt of an arrest has been replaced with even more sadness & anger than i initially felt, as we become aware of the details of what she endured. My heart hurts :(

Cases possibly of interest for the LISK case

I wondered at first if the arm & the Bay Shore body were even connected - why would LE mention that Bay Shore body was missing part of the legs, but not mention the arm being missing?? Although the theory regarding the tattoos above makes sense.

I thought the same thing.. such vague information - just a partially dismembered female body. There've been no updates throughout the day (and Newsday closed the comment section to the article which has been posted here already).

This is just crazy. Too many unsolved homicides in the last month alone and now this. Trying to have faith in SCPD - but this is scary.

This is crazy :( I can't imagine what her family is going through. I do find it interesting that the family/friends note on the community FB page (https://www.facebook.com/BringHomeSarahGoode?ref=br_tf) that the vigil will be held 1 month from when she was found by Family & Friends

interesting theory - while i'm not familiar with forensics, i imagine the DNA aspect makes a lot of sense and could make the investigation more difficult.

Yes - I thought of that case as well! Did they ever release a cause of death in that case? I remember thinking at the time based on the news reports & interviews with her current husband that he was somehow involved - yet there, like here, nothing ever was made of it. This is an aside, but...

Hi all, new LI poster here - from a town over from where SG was found. I'm also a graduate of SG's high school (although 25 years prior!). I frequently drive the route she took that night, and I can't help but wonder each time what her thoughts were as she took those back roads at that time of...
