Perhaps they did and she wanted to walk. Perhaps they don't drive, or weren't able to. It doesn't mean they wouldn't have if they could have.

I immediately thought perhaps the phone was involved. It could have even been stolen, which could be a reason for not turning it in - and before they knew it, was the key to a disappearance investigation and they were in too deep.. maybe :thinking:

Does anyone recall there being information available about whether people (e.g. Corrie's friends/family) tried to contact him that night/morning but were unable to get through? Or he was seen to have 'read' their messages (e.g. via Facebook, Whatsapp); or hadn't read, or responded, or answered...
