    ***GUILTY***The Verdict Waiting Room #3

I have been surprised by my own emotional response today. The POWERFUL images of Allison's family of origin having leave, finally, to directly address Allison's killer (poor dear Mods, having to go back through the past two years' output and remove all those 'alleged's) without disruption...

    The Verdict Waiting Room #2

Just catching up after...washing the lunchbox :( Yet another mundane thing I can't approach straightforwardly. Just thinking on the requested clarification. I know we're indulging in quite useless speculation, but for what it's worth IMO: 1. I think it's QUITE revealing that only one juror...

    The Verdict Waiting Room #2

In the criminal justice system, the people are represented by three separate yet equally important groups: the police, who investigate crime; the district attorneys, who prosecute the offenders and the juries, who decide their fate. These are their stories. [Soundtrack: dit dit] The Jury...

IMO perhaps to shield her from media interrogation before and after testimony. Is the likeliest of the possibilities.

Sorry Squizz, yes, convinced, with a sweet tooth. Smoko?

    The Verdict Waiting Room #2

Juror #1: OK everybody, it's pretty clear he did it and he meant to do it. Can we just wrap this thing up? Juror #2: Yeah, I need to be gone by 4 today. Apparently Ridge and Taylor are getting back together on B&B. Juror #3: What time's lunch again? Juror #4: I hope there's some more of that...

    The Verdict Waiting Room #2

Do we even know they're there? Maybe with back-to-school they all forgot and went back to work? Or they're waiting for the online version of the Apple iPhone 3G operating guide to print out on their bubble jet? Who knows?

    The Verdict Waiting Room #2

Humbled to be lumped in with Sooper Trooper there...champagne comedy (on a Legal Aid budget). All jokes aside, the accused does appear to have some deep seated issues with women...they seem to exist simply to make him/his business look better, bolster his ego, pass on his desperate pleas for...

    The Verdict Waiting Room #2

So this jury is either coming at it from every angle OR they're just really into the court catering. Either way, kindly get a wriggle on peeps...I've got stuff to do! If it were me, I'd be both hoeing into the free cakes and asking the Judge to re-read the bits where GBC had an overweight and...

    The Verdict Waiting Room

You know what, Doc? Love you and I'm a proud femmo, but if they were the same males you suggest usually go for beauty over brains, I'd be thrilled that they were impressed by the skill and acumen of someone pursuing a cause close to their hearts. I think that's all that's happened here and it...

    The Verdict Waiting Room

Welcome to my world :scared: OK going to try and think of something relevant to say now. I wish we had a WS jury profiler on this trial.

And most confusing for onlookers, with 20 people all calling the same woman Aunty :)

I did it too, at 30 and have just now regoggled after 11 years...have to say, I missed them, happy to have them back to hide behind :blushing:

Regular nerdish lawyer = man of this girl's dreams :) For the record, TF is a lovely man, extremely smart and very handsome...in real life ;) (Also happily married, to an equally lovely, smart, attractive woman, lest you think me a stalker!)

    The Crown v Gerard Baden-Clay, 10th July - Trial Day 18

In no way attempting to emulate Alioop, just that I'm here for one more minute before my self-imposed curfew and can answer your pertinent question with two quick links: http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cab-rank_rule...

    The Crown v Gerard Baden-Clay, 10th July - Trial Day 18

Too funny! Got me thinking how surreal/Kafkaesque it would be to discover we ALL were, in adjacent little (padded) cells, banging out 'he so dunnit' or 'nah, I met him at the infirmary and he's the nicest guy in the world'...on our State supplied iPads, natch.

    The Crown v Gerard Baden-Clay, 10th July - Trial Day 18

Good question AAAA. The only thing which immediately springs to my mind is transport (the further afield, the harder/costlier it might be to adequately staff/stock the joint? and for relative proximity to centres of justice i.e. clients?).
