I think this is a likely possibility. She could've been on so many different drugs that are common enough around UVA/colleges in general and would make her behave out of character.

Reported missing at 4:30pm on Sunday, if my memory of news serves me right.

Parker Slaybaugh is not "friend of Hannah's". He is a local reporter. <modsnip>

This is what I was referring to: "When a patron orders a bottle of wine and does not consume the entire contents, can he/she take it home? Yes, must be in the original container and sealed."

Oh, thanks for the info! But the VA ABC site (http://www.abc.state.va.us/licensing/abcfaq1.htm) says it's only wine you can do that with (unless I'm misinterpreting that)...

You learn something every day. Shame that it's only wine though.

Seriously? Thinking I should go to Tempo after I get off work and see if I can get them to give me alcohol that I can take with me outside the bar at 1am. My hunch is that they're going to be confused by the proposal.

No worries. The reason I pointed this out is because I live in Charlottesville and I think (well, I'd HOPE haha) that I'd know about an "alcohol to go" option if there were one.

Who says he bought alcohol "to go"? doesn't even say he bought any alcohol. moreover, maybe he just had a shot of liquor. there isn't any info beyond "he went inside briefly" so I wouldn't assume there's any "alcohol to go" sort of business going on there.

Only been to Tempo once, but from my experience of downtown charlottesville bars -- the "busy" time is not a little bit past 1. Busiest is 11-mignight, unless we're talking about "The Box" or "Rapture" -- aka very "townie" bars that stay busy right up until last call/around 2am and produce...

There are, but nothing on the downtown mall is open 24/7. There is a McDonald's right off the downtown mall (HG would've sort of passed near to it before entering the DM) but few people realize it's there. It's easy to miss.
