Surprised to find such little interest or comment on the case here today. I'm particularly interested in the history of the mum, not to explore blame on her part, but really to understand what had happened before Poppi's death, and why she and the other kids have have their names protected when...
But they may not have known to check for a call record all ( these are often designed to run silently , without a casual user of the phone being able to notice ) . the option not to save locally could mean that there was no encrypted call data on the phone to raise any suspicion.
I think that was referring to the call logs, not recordings of calls themselves, which often ( I use a call recorder for work ) save the recording both on the phone and on a remote server.
Certainly, in the March 7th interview, SH states this, that NM probably doesn't know or remember that...

I've been locked out of WS for a few days, having changed computers and forgotten to save or December my password. Apologies if I go over any ground that has been great with.
Just some thoughts:-
SH RECORDINGS
- SH mentions in her interview, published Thursday 22nd Oct, that her phone...
I think this could refer to the analysis and data recovery from the phones, in which case we might have heard all that we will do with respect to Matthews and Hoare.
I've just been wondering that. I would have thought that they would have started by identifying their numbers, and then going straight to the telecoms provider for their logs; rather than rely on the phones themselves. One possibility is that they cycle sim-cards and phones ( something common...
I've said before that I can't imagine that SH and NM are sticking to their original stories. I think this is one of those cases where the evident lack of thought in their initial interviews ( SH's contradition about whether Becky was punished , or got away with things for example ) will end up...
This is just a recording of what he said after his arrest. I'm expecting a refined timeline and story from him, and hoping to infer his intent from that. I can't imagine he's sticking by his original statement, and trying a manslaughter plea. His barrister wouldn't have any of it.
Hmm. Very good point.
This joins nicely with something I thought about earlier... We are reading reports of what the jury are hearing, a tape of what NM/SH said during initial post-arrest interviews. There's nothing as yet to say that either will stick to those early statements, whether they...
I think this confusion stems from the fact that Becky's mum didn't know Beck had been home initially, and was concerned about her not having been home.
So police initially believed that she hadn't been since since the night before, when she stayed at a friends. They, and we, now know different.
Yeah. I've exhausted all the logical possibilities, which are horrific in themselves. I can't wait to finally understand why this girls life came to such an end.
I can't stop thinking about this other victim of NM's. This person would have surely suspected / known of NM's involvement. Were they assisting police from the start? That would suggest a great deal more was known by the police at the start of the investigation than I thought.
Poor kid.
Yes, perhaps the evidence was difficult to extract or retrieved after an attempted destruction by NM/SH or decrypted if saved on a phone or laptop with a password. Remember the Oscar Pistorius forgotten password malarkey?
Rape of the dead body?
I believe they found his dna inside her, ruled out semen, and said that sexual activity was before death. It makes it hard to believe you've looked at this in enough detail if you can be so sure who committed the crime but don't know exactly which crimes have been committed.
I agree. I think I have been misled by the term 'exhibit', which I thought ( most likely erroneously ) to mean artefacts that will be submitted to the court before the trial begins, and that that means they have been determined to be relevant.
Yes, if 'exhibit' can even mean absolutely...
