Wonder why he stopped killing? That's very unusual for a serial killer. I doubt we will ever know for sure.
I'm tipping the heat got way too hot and he was certain he would be caught, so self preservation.
Excellent news regarding the arrest and charges.
With regards to SS, you can't be charged with murder with no dead body (well you can, but it wont get up in court). WAPOL will try and make a deal with him to lead them to the body, IMO.
I'm of the opinion it's actually number 1. I have a good source for that too. From the same source, it's also confirmed they have a DNA profile of the CSK, but no idea at all who it is.
They've desperately gone back over the investigation to try and figure out who it is or if there's anyone...
Sorry if this is going over dead ground. But I would like to get users thoughts on the following regarding DNA and certain scenarios.
1. Police do not have a DNA profile of the offender.
2. Police have a full DNA profile of the offender, but have no idea who the offender is.
3. Police have...
Pretty sure this would already have been similar a line of inquiry for Macro. They would have had difficulty with large company's such as Telecom as the recording of who had what car at what time was / is very loose and unable to be tracked.
Expanding the inquiry to ALL Commodores would be...
Who believes one or more of the following scenarios:
1. CSK stalked his victims in a vehicle and then approached them in the vehicle offering a lift? CSK unknown to victims.
2. CSK just happened to be driving past and offered his victims a lift? CSK unknown to victims
3. CSK met the girls...
The biggest suspicion I have with LW being the CSK is that I reason the CSK had to have almost certainly been stalking Claremont. Driving around doing laps of area, I don't believe he was parked anywhere as all three went missing from slightly different areas. It's too much of a coincidence...
It's a combination of both. Telephone intercepts, listening for comments/chatter about the case. Maybe even covert sureveillance watching to see if the POI's movements are suddenly strange or meeting with contacts that were previously unknown.
I do not have any inside knowledge of the case...
<modsnip> Police releasing strategic misinformation? It's a widespread, regularly used tactic to create discussion amongst potential POI's. That's exactly what MM is and from my research I've obtained enough information to suggest he was nothing but that.
I am quite convinced that LW is their man, until police publicly announce that he is cleared, he will always be my no 1. There is just so little evidence in this case it's just not enough to proceed with a trial after charging someone. They don't want to risk taking it to court without the...
Mate, I agree with all of those suggestions but I think it's too late. If it's done it needs to be of a Coroners Inquest. How WA POL have managed to avoid one this far is beyond me. It seems they must have told the families something to keep their hopes alive, but surely after this long you...
Yeah, I'm confident that it's a single male perpetrator still residing in Perth. I believe the crimes were sexually motivated, as in the CSK was either rebounding from a failed relationship or not being sexually fulfilled at the time. It may be that he had met a female person that is none the...
The person I am most interested in identifying is the well-educated Martial Arts Practitioner from a wealthy English family (who was 34 years old in 1996/1997). He worked closely with SS and had once met Jane Rimmer. He told "blatant lies" during his police interviews and played down his close...
You are incorrect. Police have not linked the rape to all three, they linked it to CG's murder, then other factors if a non forensic nature have connected the other crimes.
A forensic link does not automatically mean it's DNA, it could be a multitude of different things, fingerprints, clothing...
Characteristics of serial killers
Serial murder has been described as deliberate, premeditated, and sexually predatory in nature, with a lack of interpersonal conflict and provocation (Kraemer, Lord & Heilbrun 2004: 338). The characteristics of serial killers - their behaviour, actions and...
Did you actually read my post? I agreed with you (in general), but considering the known facts of the Claremont case any reasonable person surely would not think the CSK was 18, lol.
It seems to me you have a pretty high regard for your average 18 year olds intelligence, life experience...
I think in general it's silly to rule out someone just because they're 18, but when you consider the facts of the Claremont case, I think it's pretty silly to think that an 18 yr old was the CSK.
