I think just thinking it through would tell Vilt a kidnapping is possible (not probable though). I really would have liked to see what GGP was doing when the baby "disappeared". Also I read some concerns over them changing the story from the parents "going exploring" and the parents "going...

Thanks for the link. I didn't post a link because I didn't know if it was against the rules. Makes it easier for people to find. Thanks!

I just looked up the Kurt Newton story that was mentioned above. It is very similar to this case but it happened in 1975. Kurt (4 yrs. old) and his sister (6 yrs.) were left alone for 10 minutes/50 yards away. The mom went to wash tennis shoes and the dad went to get wood for the fire. I...

But my sentence was for several John Does. So if I have 3 John Does found along side the ditch, that is the punctuation I need. John Does isn't right is it? Maybe it is. That's why I put it like Does'. Thanks!

I still think alexwood is right. If a body is found (baby, child or adult) there would be less unidentified bodies!!!! No more Jane Does' and John Does' unless of course the microchip couldn't be found. Not sure punctuation is correct on the "Doe" name. Doesn't look right.

Microchips only have identification information that is scanned after the animal is found. It does not have a GPS to help find an animal. A GPS would take a battery to work. You couldn't have a battery that large implanted.

Why GGP's home? I don't get it. I think you are implying that maybe something happened to Deorr before they left for camp? Totally guessing here. But they lived with baby Deorr's paternal grandpa, not the maternal GGP (the one on the camping trip). Maybe I'm not understanding. Edit: Ok...

I don't think 4 adults would have to be lying. If one had dementia (we don't know this) and one is not quite all there, wouldn't it be fairly easy to convince them that Deorr Jr. was there without the two guys actually seeing him? In the interview, the friend didn't ever say he even saw Deorr...

Websleuths HAS helped solve cases. Read here. Especially the 2nd paragraph in with the light gray background. http://www.poynter.org/news/mediawire/211772/online-communities-are-especially-good-at-helping-law-enforcement-solve-crimes/

Bluesneakers, thank you so much for that link to the video about Richard Jewell. Towards the end of the video his mom said that 20 years from now we would remember his name as the man that was accused of the bombing (my words). She was RIGHT. It has been 19 years and I remembered his name...

TxJan, thank you so much for letting me know that Nate said it was a 20 min. drive to the store. I just remembered wrong which is normal. On another note, I think the friend looked so drugged up. When the parents said they didn't know who would want to hurt them by taking Deorr (my words)...

I'm sure LE knows if there are security cameras in Leadore or not. Our town population is a little less than 4,000 people. Three years ago we got security cameras put inside and outside our small store. The city police actually stopped and told us how pleased they were that we were doing...

People, there is "not" <modsnip>involved in this that we know. The rso was living on ranger road or something like that. People were "speculating" <modsnip>. There is no solid info. at all. He could have been renting one of those little /cabin fire lookouts (whatever they are called). We...

Does anyone know how far these little cabins/fire-lookouts (whatever they are called) are from Deorr's campsite? I find it odd that all of a sudden they are saying they bought French fries and a man was looking at Deorr. That has never been said before. Wouldn't that have been in the...

She talked fast and like she was very nervous. Did anyone think she appeared drunk? She kind of slurred her words and repeated short sentences. If I was talking to a news station, I'd probably appear nervous too I guess.
