As a local and talking to other residents, Midlothian police, and police from other surrounding towns - I just don't believe that the car had anything to do with the case and also that they police are not playing these big strategic games. At this point, they have followed their initial leads...
Someone posted about the car jacking at Walmart on Easter Sunday - that was 2 black males. IMO does not match the description/video of SwatPerp.
Just wanted to say that downtown Midlo and McDonald's are clear - no Nissan Altima spotted ;)
And as far as the car at SWFA, if the perp had busted a window and then drove over there to see if police came, they would've been in the parking lot a lot longer, not just a few minutes. And in the dark and rain you wouldn't be able to really scope out or see anything at the church. That's...
Hwy 287 is a busy road and main thoroughfare for this area. There are always cars out driving 24/7. I would feel differently if it were 10, 20, 30 min before the perp was caught on camera at the church, but over an hour?? I just think it's not likely IMO. But like everything else in this...
I hope they find the driver of that car ASAP. Because IMO it could've been someone that pulled over to check their phone or make a call or just wanted to stop because of the rain - so totally unrelated to the crime.
Definitely not the press conference I was hoping for. So disappointed they don't have or didn't provide more information. How can they not get a better estimate of the height than a 5" variable??!
Here are pictures of the Mount Zion/Meadowbrook area. The pictures are from FM663 heading North towards Hwy 287. You can see it's a heavily treed area and you probably wouldn't see a car parked down by the houses if it were dark - JMO. The
How do I post pictures from my phone? I took some from the street of the Mount Zion/Meadowbrook area it anyone wants to see. They're not great pictures - just from inside my car when I was driving by
Since this all happened, AT has not been hiding out. A couple of weeks ago we had a wine festival here in town, and he was there in the CG booth recruiting people!
Probably not. I live in Midlo (used to live in Mansfield) and our garbage has always been picked up twice a week. We are currently on a Mon and Thurs schedule. So if it's still the same, the trash would've been picked up the 18th, 21st, and then 25th.
Definitely a possibility. I don't think he would stick around that long though to wait for the stuff to fully burn down. Also, the houses don't have utilities anymore, so if a bigger fire caught there would be no water to put it out. That could draw attention quickly and people would notice...
The abandoned houses are right in town and we have regular trash service - leave it on the curb, garbage truck picks it up, etc. I don't believe the perp would start a fire at the houses because it would be noticed and called in - IMO.
