Following info from Bail Application:
Maureen Brainard-Barnes [Heuermann not yet charged with her death]
Last seen alive: 9 July 2007 in New York City
Defendant’s wife's location during crime: neither cell billing records nor travel/financial records were available for Heuermann’s wife in 2007...
Thank you for this article. It says he has a missing left front tooth. I find this slightly unusual since he was in the consulting business and might have to meet new clients and pitch his services. I wonder if one of his victims kicked him in the teeth.
I believe that it used to be true--that labs could not extract DNA from a hair segment that lacked a follicle. But I believe that changed around 2019 or 2020, and DNA could be extracted from hair segments. But, as others have mentioned, if samples have degraded or aged to the point where DNA...
I have also wondered about if he really had employees. I have also wondered if he possibly wanted it to look like he had employees so that he could falsely stake a claim to financial assistance during Covid. Just speculating based on some of his other financial behaviors.
I recall they made a non-specific sort of general statement at presser, but footnote 3 (page 9/32) of Bail Application states "neither cellular telephone billing records, not travel/financial records, could be obtained for Defendant Heuermann's wife for 2007, as such records were no longer...

I do not understand what you are saying.
The quote I posted comes directly from the article.
You can follow people on Insta without ever sending them a public or private message. He could have followed the victims and only sent one of them a DM. MOO
It's from the article in People Magazine. I have posted the link twice. Go to the end of the article. Count five paragraphs up from the bottom. Right there.
Here is the link again.

Somebody on here had mentioned that maybe he did not see DM because of the Good Vibes lit sign hanging near the hallway. Maybe this light cast a shadow on his prominent brow bone and made his eyebrows appear "bushy." MOO
