I agree. It was a huge risk not to respond at all. I wonder what they are hiding -- it has to be something or why else ignore the request? They could have responded and redacted whatever they wanted to if they had responded earlier. Now, it's all got to be handed over. I know Abernathy is a...
New month, new lawsuit.
Over the past week, we have received press inquiries into the rumors of this firm entering into a lawsuit under the Texas Open Records Act (552) with the City of Abernathy, Texas, in the Thomas Brown case. We can confirm the rumors to be true.
If you go to Kleins FB...

According to Kleins FB page, he is now representing the family of this young man. I am glad someone is getting involved.
Of note, the grandparents are who hired Klein to investigate.

He's been found dead.
Around 2:45 p.m. today, Beaver County Sheriff Reuben Parker, Jr. was notified by the Ellis County Sheriff that Jack Morrison had been found around 15 miles south of Shattuck, Oklahoma...
Depending on which way he went from Pampa, he very well could have ended up in Lake Meredith. Pampa, for those who aren't local, is a pretty rough town. Drugs are a huge problem.
This was posted on Kleins FB page --- they are asking the public if they recognize this persons voice. While I am sure its the call is a nasty joke, it is somewhat related to Toms case so I am linking it here.

I think everyone is assuming he will be found in some field come spring….or the lake (though temps are warming up these next few days so maybe that;l help?).
This is pretty local to me. Unless someone took him in, I doubt he is still alive. We just had 3-4 days of temperatures that did not get above 20 all day and windchills of -10. I am worried for him.
Well, the cousin + his brother were the ones in the interview so thats all we can *for sure* say were entertaining the idea of a coverup. It just seems like such a long, stretching jump to me, but I am not in their shoes.
This is where I come down on it all. If they were breaking laws, thats one thing. But since it's up to each office, so what they did isn't wrong. It just seems weird to me that they'd make such a big jump to LE having a coverup and not just some criminal killed their brother.
