FACT OR NOT FACT: 10am came and went and the Ramsey's did not panic or even question why the ransom call did not come - according to Linda Arndt.
I believe there were other detectives present for the purpose of monitoring the awaited call? Did anyone else, either another police...
This is the only one I heard...

I am reasonably certain I hear a child's voice at the end, which would have to be BR. I think I hear "What did you..." but can't hear the last word as "find", or even if there is a last word?
I am open to BDI but I can't believe he was responsible for everything to do with the murder (i.e. the...
I think the best BDI scenario is that Burke placed the noose around her neck and tied to something else (doorknob?) It was elevated enough that the cord would go taught if she would have fallen. He molested her with the paintbrush handle and she screamed. In anger and/or fright he her hit her...
Agreed. If that is Burke saying "What did you find" it would tend to exonerate him more than anything at that point? Personally, I do not hear the "find" but him asking them anything about what happened does not make sense as far as BDI.
My biggest problem with RDI has always been this. I can believe one of them may have struck JB in a flash of anger, but I just can't imagine them strangling her to death after that, and I also cannot believe that they would have thought she was dead when anyone who wasn't mentally challenged...
If the note were left by an intruder, I don't think it would have mattered where they left it as long as it was in plain view. If Patsy hadn't gone down that particular staircase first, she would have searched the whole house anyway as soon as she went to get JB up and realized she was not in...
If he was going to remove the body he would have done it before daylight the night of the murder. First of all, obviously he'd have a better chance of not being seen removing the body at night, plus he'd have the time to bury or hide her in a woods or whatever. Secondly, they wouldn't have to...
I now feel BDI is very possible, what I don't think is possible is that they would have not confronted him about it immediately. Could they have been 100% sure it WASN'T an intruder? How could they not have checked on him if he was back in bed when they found JB? Did they say, "Well, it looks...
They just assumed upon finding JB that BDI and then proceeded to cover up for him without confronting him about it? I find that next to impossible to believe.
If BDI, he must have went up and told them JB was hurt, or else at least one of the parents was there when it happened? By the time they called 911, of course, the staging was completed. No one at that point was just finding out about it, unless it was Burke and he was innocent after all? So...
But why BDI if he asked "what did you find" and she asked him "what did you do" as the phone call was AFTER the staging? This would have been hours after they knew he did it and he knew that they knew?
If we are to believe JR about not having fixed the basement window for months and not having the security alarm on that night, then it is possible doors were also unlocked as it seems he had little concern for security? Of course, his comments could have also been for the sake of accommodating...
That's what I asked also. Why admit he went downstairs at all? But maybe he's just trying to be truthful to a point, and then realizing that to admit the next step, that JB was with him, is too incriminating. All in all though, it's apparent the guy is somewhat disturbed, so it's hard to second...
You think he slept thru the night and didn't realize there was no real intruder until after the phone call? Possible, but I can't believe she would think he wouldn't figure it out, and if that was the case why wouldn't she have just awakened him before the staging and admitted it? To think she...
