I absolutely agree that the evidence so far (tentative links only to Delphi) makes me feel extremely hesitant to call this THE GUY. I think I'll need more than a bit of circumstantial evidence to feel confident about this.

Also, casting blame on someone because they post mirror selfies is ridiculous. It's a cultural phenomenon for the age group whether or not you like it, and it has no bearings on the morality of the individual taking the photo.
I'm thinking there is a good chance the authorities have determined the truck above went to Mexico sometime in the last week or so. The question was, who was in it at the time? Might explain the BOL and sister's behavior and denial that he went there.

I'd assume LE's public position that she's likely still alive would be motivated in large part to keep everyone moralized and willing to keep searching. It would be pretty horrible if they acknowledged she's likely dead only to find out later they might have found her alive if they'd kept up...
Three separate persons of interests. One has been cleared. Narrows it down to two. But it seems like the main person of interest is the boyfriend who has lawyered up.
