To be fair to them, they did only search that specific area LE pointed them to. They did say that she could be found further down the river. They have since came out and said that if they had been made aware of her vulnerabilities at the time, it would have changed their search pattern.

I actually thought it was most likely an excuse for them doing the family/friends a favour by removing comments. I haven't checked it recently but some of the comments were terrible. It's hard not to speculate on Nicolas wellbeing after hearing todays presser but i will say this, if the vulnerability was mental illness or possibly suicidal, would friends and family be so adamant that she wouldn't have disappeared by her own choice? I would assume if she had a known history...
