John Ray is going after the wrong guy, or at the least name both Brewer and Hackett.

Do we know the name of the cop who responded to the call? Or a way to find it out?

Confirmed by John Ray from his conversation with Brewer, mentioned in his podcast interview. Also confirmed from a conversation with both John Ray and "The Drifter".

Brewer has confirmed via Jon Ray that "the Drifter" was not at his house that night/early morning. And his identity is well documented at this point.
