I completely agree that it came across as an alibi that raised more questions than it answered. I guess my follow-up question would be: What do you think was his reason for thinking he needed some kind of alibi--or at least something that walked, talked, and quacked like an alibi?
Here’s a question I just can’t shake from my mind. I have no idea what the answer is.
On December 5, Cameron Gamble gets what I think (not positive) is his first air time on a national news show on television. It’s on MSNBC, with Chris Jansing. Here is how the interview...
Agree. I also believe it is very peculiar for people who might be carrying around 100,000 in cash, whether their own or some anonymous donor's, to announce on YouTube that they have that much cash on their person. If I had that many bills on me, I wouldn't post a video about it.
Here are two facts. Logically, one of them must be true and the other must be false. But each has a problem.
Fact 1: Keith Papini was not aware, prior to its delivery, of the ADs reverse ransom letter that was given to television station KRCR on November 6.
Problem: Its unethical to take...
Agree. I, too, broke out in hives from time to time as I was going through my divorce. But they were smaller hives than the ones I broke out in as I was going through my marriage.
This is one of the most troublesome components of this case. I think it is creepy, sad, and unfair that every Hispanic woman in Shasta County with a dark SUV has been reported multiple times to the police. I hope we will keep these women in mind, too, as we reflect on Ms. Papini's victimization.
Agree. To fill in some details on the AD side: [a] the 11/17 reverse ransom letter says that AD is leaving Redding in a few days on his next business trip. [b] CG's 11/22 video message to the perps, which has since been removed from YouTube, says that that AD has "already left town to be with...
Here is a question for Lake16.
I guess its obvious that Keith knew about the 50,000 in reward money that was featured on the posters that went up within a day or two of Sherris disappearance. And of course he knew about the effort as well. My question is: Did he also know about the...
I dont think this is a major flaw in the narrative. They had to slow down or stop somewhere to drop her off. Consider the alternatives:
--Pull over on the side of I5: This could draw attention of LE, or some overzealous other driver could call LE to report a disabled vehicle.
--Stop at a...
I am very glad to see that you believe the AD and the negotiator might be one and the same. That is what I think, too.
My personal opinion is that Mr. Gamble was involved in the writing and distribution of the November 6 reverse ransom letter and that Ms. Jeters account of the Gamble timeline...
I urge you to reread the text of the letter. It says in several places how the abductors should contact the negotiator. To have posted this letter on November 6, whether on Facebook, on sherripapini.com, on another website, or via KRCR, prior to there actually being a negotiator would have...
Thank you for your reply, sumzero. I think it has a significant flaw. Suppose KRCR had posted and broadcast the letter promptly on receipt, on November 6. The abductors respond immediately and follow the letters instructions for reaching out to the negotiator. But there is no reply back...
I would appreciate it greatly if someone here could reconcile the following two facts:
Fact 1: Lisa Jeter says that Cameron Gamble’s first involvement with the case began no earlier than November 14. Source...
First three sentences of the Help Find Sherri Papini page, launched 11/4/16:
Please Help us in Raising Money to BRING SHERRI HOME SAFE. All Funds will go directly to the Papini family and will be used for search efforts to Find Sherri and to Help bring her home Safely. Every...
Agree. As of now, we have no evidence of any contact between Mr. Gamble and the abductors. We have no evidence the abductors are aware that Mr. Gamble exists.
I am an aggressive CG skeptic, but I think Lake16 answered this one right: Lots of stuff in California gets translated into Spanish, for obvious reasons.
Thanks for posting that. There are many angles on which one could comment. Here are a few:
--Her comments would have been more compelling if they had been framed in a context of concern for the Papinis. It is striking to me that the Papinis are not mentioned.
--Isnt it part of the deal when...
I believe I was the one who first asked about the domain registration. Its a proxy registration via GoDaddyno name. I surmised that law enforcement would have wanted to get the registrants name from GoDaddy. I do not believe anyone here at WS was able to reveal the registrant; indeed, that...
Lots of interesting CG details here, from the Ventura County Star:
http://www.vcstar.com/story/news/local/2016/12/08/experts-question-local-hostage-negotiators-methods/95044410/
I am having a hard time believing that CG was not involved in this saga before 11/14, which the article asserts (you...
