It is my belief..all is lost. :(

Received a reply back from FACES. There are factors as to why DNA testing has not been performed. Records were lost during Hurricane Katrina and the Cemetery is known but there is not a marked burial plot. They are working with agencies for resolution and hope that one day, DNA testing can done.

Why would Ray bring his laptop with him if he was just going for a drive? The laptop/hard drive was water destroyed, but the phone left in the car..was this his personal cell or work issued?

Yes! I came across something recently as well on here about a body, mentioned Lurline, but someone reminded me of her DNA on file... I'm hoping she is alive and leading a good life :)

With Ray being 60 and about to retire, any insight on why he would plan a disappearance instead of just telling people the truth? Why not just come clean that you want to move out of PA and don't see a future with Patty? I tend to think he left on his own accord because he was intimidated by...

The Southfield sighting is interesting. Barbara Gray as a possible helper... knowing that Ray was close to his daughter Lara, would Barbara help Ray disappear knowing that this would cause their own daughter grief? Or, do you suspect she knew as well?

The only thing that is odd to me is if you were going to walkaway or commit suicide, would you go to a busy area where you would be recognized? I would think you would prefer a more out of the way secluded spot to meet up or leave the vehicle (?)

IMO, walkaway.. But where did he go and who might have helped him? That would explain the computer search for how to destroy a hard drive... Well planned and to my knowledge, no reported sightings of Ray, so wherever he went, he disguised himself well or maybe out of the country?

I suspect they are very busy, and I'm sure the potential wait list is long at the lab. I would like to know if there has been any effort at all to locate the EXACT spot in the cemetery he is at? And I wonder what kind of hurdles have to be jumped in order for him to be exhumed for DNA testing...
