Here's the one from WS: 08-20-2013, 10:29 PM GGE "But Keyes' relationship with the media was odd, said Bell. Before his arrest he would comment under news stories about the kidnapping of Samantha Koenig, and the murders of Bill and Loraine Currire, a Vermont couple that he admitted...

Trying to find a missing person, who could be a victim...

I am 100% convinced that in many cases he used his victim's car. For example, he admitted that he took the Currier's car for planned bank robberies (3) after the murder, but the car had mechanical issues, so he abandoned the plan.

    Bank Robberies

They know for sure he robbed Tupper Lake in 2009 (?). And the bank in Azle, TX in 2012. He admitted to both of these and there are photos of both. I have attempted to look for bank robberies in certain areas during his travels, but didn't see a data base. Bandit tracker seems to limited to...

OK, The mileage and timeline is driving me crazy. I recalculated, haven't looked at this for months until recently. Something does not add up. IK's crisscrossing and movements are just insane and difficult to track/follow...

I never really bought into the "random" theory. I know that's what the FBI said, but I am just not convinced. I also believe he had a victim preference. "If you're set up in the right spot...you know...using binoculars...you can see who's in the car, you know, like shopping". I do believe...

Mjk, Good work. Also, in one of the audio clips, Keyes talked about how he was thinking of burning churches. He stated that he thought of taking someone to a church and then he wanted to burn it. He stated that he had "a lot of problems with religion" and added that he thought it would be a...

Wow BD1989, that's awesome! I think it's natural to be fascinated by these cases, that's why shows like Criminal Minds are so popular. I think it's because we all want to know the "why"? I mean, the people at the FBI were probably fascinated, too, that's may be why they went into the field.

same here, I felt sure he killed Rebekah. I had worked out the milage on google maps a few months ago. I will possibly recheck it, but if I remember correctly, in all worked out. However, it's certainly possible that I miscalculated somewhere. It's also possible that he killed someone "not...

I found his case on the North America Missing Person's Network. Another reason we need a centralized data base for missing adults. http://www.nampn.org/cases/christianson_john_w.html

For all of Keye's "trips", I have tried to look into the most likely missing person and work it out with the mileage and FBI timeline. This is what I came up with for his 2007 trip. Of course, this is pure speculation, with the little bit of information we have to work with, but here goes...

    Israel Keyes: General Discussion

Dub, I remember that from the audio tapes. He stated that he had gotten a new computer a year (?) or so before the Currier killings and there were searches of them on that computer. He reported that is the only reason he told LE about the Curriers. He stated that he knew they would be able to...

    Possible Sightings

Someone posted this in the comments section under the Dark Minds doc on Youtube. I believe it is a possibility. I checked the guy's name and he does have a business involving wood foundations and a facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/Permanent-Wood-Foundation-1490738244480444/ It is...

Also, I agree, he could have been almost talking about himself. In some kind of crazy way, he must have felt so lonely, I can't imagine carrying that kind of a secret and NO one knowing anything about your "real" self, except your victims. They are the only ones who saw him for who he really...

I believe he was posting right before he was arrested. He left Alaska on 03/01/12 and headed to Vegas, where he rented a car and withdrew money from AZ, NM, and finally arrested in TX. I don't know if you able to listen to all the interviews on ADN, but they were quite telling. He said he...
