I beg to differ ! Libby was in a river, searched extensively over periods of time (as was the Wyre) and not found there.
Only being found by chance 7 weeks later having making her way through the River Hull through a busy city and almost lost to the North Sea.
I’m not sure how a murder...
Love and healing thoughts to Nicola’s family, especially her daughters.
Those of us who have followed or read about similar cases of disappearances near rivers know how possible it is to be lost to the water, to be found much later on or never found at all. It doesn’t take much research. Libby...
Posted last week that I felt sadly, Nicola had fallen into the water.
I live across the bay but was on the fylde for a week a few before Nicola went missing, there was persistent rain, likely to have affected the flow and level of many local rivers for the following weeks.
<modsnip - not an...
I live across the bay but I was in the Fylde for a week from Tuesday the 10th of this month - it rained and rained and rained. I wanted to head out on walks myself but the weather was that bad I was confined to the hotel for 6 out of the 7 days. Gales too. I think I read a post a bit further...
Mental health diagnosis and/OR a learning disability would be very likely the reason for no social media posts saying ‘oh that’s such and such’ ‘went to school with him ... etc’
He may have been home schooled, small schooling unit, in and out of secure mental health units ...
Just popped on since seeing the photo this afternoon .... wow. Interesting.
looking like very much a random Murder
yeah, if not Julia then another female (maybe male...)
wonder where this photo has surfaced from and why !
The dog walking world is one of familiarity, I see the same people on my walks in our woods most days. Bumped into the same lovely bloke 4 times this week around a ‘general time’ and have stopped for a quick chat. Even if we vary and do our ‘other’ walks, there is usually a familiar face or two...
I actually think it’s the perfect place, for someone convinced they’re in a battle for good and evil, to commit suicide. Brian was clearly very poorly. RIP
Glad to see others like Officer Dibble have mentioned Leah Croucher ...
Despite her having a lover with a wife and family, maybe just maybe another person altogether caused her disappearance. Do we know if WC had any links to Milton Keynes ?
Absolutely overjoyed, if ever you could be in this situation, especially for Libby’s family.
A small token towards ending the horrific ordeal of a trial and closing that chapter. They will never be able to move on, though they may try and time isn’t always a healer but I hope they can take...
I agree. I completely believe he is guilty, but just one of the things you’ve listed could have been what an unsure juror/s really needed to reach a murder verdict.
I imagined more complex evidence would have been presented by the prosecution, did the police not do thorough enough leg work ...
At this point, I’m inclined to believe the jury are being thorough on points of law.
But I still have confidence that the judge will issue the longest possible sentence for PR (hurt to even use initials !) possible, as in his disgusting deviancy crimes
Seriously, what are the chances that after Libby’s terrifying ordeal, she decides to throw herself in the river to take her own life?
Mental health issues aside, Libby’s fight or flight had already kicked in, we know this due to her screams.
It becomes apparent, after weighing everything up...
