Found Deceased KY - Savannah Spurlock, 22, left 'The Other Bar' with 2 men, Richmond, 4 Jan 2019 # 2

Sure, but as others pointed out, why FaceTime? If there was some kind of trouble, risking seeing their own faces seems like such a sloppy move. I'm not completely dismissive of foul play. I just think that even the dumbest of criminals would go through some effort to hide their identities.

Found Deceased KY - Savannah Spurlock, 22, left 'The Other Bar' with 2 men, Richmond, 4 Jan 2019 # 2

I can get onboard with your theory but I'd still consider that to be along the lines of my thinking, that no harm was intended from the bar exit. I still lean toward the angle of drugs/alcohol/some other freak accident. At least as far as I've heard, this seems to be a single isolated incident...

Found Deceased KY - Savannah Spurlock, 22, left 'The Other Bar' with 2 men, Richmond, 4 Jan 2019 # 2

This has probably been stated, but it seems to me that the men she left with wouldn't have allowed FaceTime if they intended on harming her. Additionally, if they met at a bar, they'd know there were witnesses. Putting yourself in their shoes, if they wanted to harm her, wouldn't they have...

I'm pretty sure there's been an arrest <modsnip>

MO MO - Fawn Cox, 16, killed in her home, Kansas City, 26 July 1989 *suspect died in 2006*

Hi Amber, I was hoping you could go back to page 5 and answer my question about the truck. What I'm curious about is who owned the truck and was it always positioned the way it was the night of the murder? Was the boy from church a part of the gang allegedly responsible? In your opinion, was...

MO MO - Fawn Cox, 16, killed in her home, Kansas City, 26 July 1989 *suspect died in 2006*

A couple of questions, because this got my interest and I don't think it's unsolvable. Was the pickup truck owned by your family? Was it always parked there? If not, who placed a pickup close enough to the house that someone could use it to get in? Who knew your schedules? It seems like quite...

    OH OH - Brian Shaffer, 27, Columbus, 1 April 2006 - #3

When you think about it, if the area was known to be high in crime, a dark construction area that's seemingly isolated from people would be an ideal place for drug dealers.

    OH OH - Brian Shaffer, 27, Columbus, 1 April 2006 - #3

There's a couple things that really eat at me here. He's talking to the girls on camera nearly up until closing time. By this point, last call has probably been called and within moments, everyone will have to leave the bar. This includes his friends, who would be looking to get him so they...

    IA IA - Rose Burkert, 22, & Roger Atkison, 32, Williamsburg, 12 Sept 1980

That's always been my theory and it would take a lot to change my mind. From the killer's perspective, killing one and waiting for the other is too much of a risk. The body could be seen and a scream before the door's even fully closed. I think it was a very controlled situation and they...

    IA IA - Rose Burkert, 22, & Roger Atkison, 32, Williamsburg, 12 Sept 1980

Thanks for posting all those details mysterymike. I agree that the detail of being fully clothed contradicts the idea of killing in their sleep and without a forced entry, that would mean the killer somehow had access to the room. The sheet being pulled over after their death is also an...

    IA IA - Rose Burkert, 22, & Roger Atkison, 32, Williamsburg, 12 Sept 1980

All good scenarios but I do think it seems too organized for someone who didn't even know where they'd be until they got there, unless he was sloppy and got lucky. I can buy him being let into the room. If Rose is out and he knocks, logically Roger would think Rose was at the door and run to...

    IA IA - Rose Burkert, 22, & Roger Atkison, 32, Williamsburg, 12 Sept 1980

I agree. I'm trying to find when her mother married into that family. I have the father's name of the half-family and all the siblings. I have Rose's father, who died two years before, the name of her mother and where she's located, but not much else. Her mother, who may have been the...

It's somewhat amazing what's NOT online. I can find bits and pieces here and there and have linked people through obituaries, but I honestly can't figure out the most important family links in this case.

I've talked to her multiple times. I'm trying to get some information from her now but I haven't heard from her in a week. I'm trying to get some clarity on the family tree. I'm close but there's some missing pieces.

I have no idea. I know half-brother had been trying to have a baby without luck at that point, though after they took custody of Rose's daughter, they did have another daughter.

    IA IA - Rose Burkert, 22, & Roger Atkison, 32, Williamsburg, 12 Sept 1980

Here's another thought I had and I used to question: I always thought that it was strange that Rose had a babysitter for the whole weekend, considering the cost and the trust in just having some other person watch your two year old. Looking back, mother as babysitter makes a ton of sense...

    IA IA - Rose Burkert, 22, & Roger Atkison, 32, Williamsburg, 12 Sept 1980

It was never reported that she was punched. That could have been left out deliberately, but I never heard anything other than blows to the back of the head with a sharp object. They weren't covered until after the murders, so they would have had to lay face down and both been killed pretty...

    IA IA - Rose Burkert, 22, & Roger Atkison, 32, Williamsburg, 12 Sept 1980

I'm not 100% sold on the car being moved as the point of entry. If it were the step-father and CRH, then that would be my guess, but if half-brother was involved, other possibilities open. We know there were two calls to or from the babysitter (mother) and another unknown call. Call one...

    IA IA - Rose Burkert, 22, & Roger Atkison, 32, Williamsburg, 12 Sept 1980

I know one of the most obvious suspects was Rose's ex boyfriend, who was questioned many times, passed a lie detector test, and had an air-tight alibi. He had been working that night, was on the clock with several witnesses. I don't know what he did for a living, but it seems to me that this...
