I guess my thinking on that would be that Lebrato had no way of knowing if he would possibly be reinstated at a later date .. if JG held a contempt hearing and happened to remove R & B from the case again. So maybe he figured he needs to stay in D attorney mode while speaking to the media ...
SBM for focus. Isn't this pretty common for defense attorneys when they have a client that has pleaded not guilty? I follow a lot of these cases and I can't think of one attorney (that I have seen) admit to their client being guilty. What kind of representation would that be? I'm just trying to...
Just finished watching today's testimony and one thing that really stood out to me was the absence of the loud voice of the interpreter. Wonder why they seemed so much quieter today
I think this arrest was for a financial crime and they had not yet brought charges against him for murder. If I remember correctly. But yes, I agree, they definitely treated him with kid gloves.
I think I would have called police first .. I would have been too scared to break in to someones home that I didn't know. I would have been thinking the homeowner might own a gun. Now if it were my child inside that house, I may think about it. But these were grown men. I just can't wrap my head...
that was sure ballsy of her to break in to someones home that she had never met. I don't think I would have been able to ever do something like that at a friends home, let alone a strangers home.
I noticed right before this when both of her attorneys got up she realized whatever she was looking at on her computer screen was on display. She reached up rather quickly to close the cover, then opened it back up and closed out the tab and then closed the cover. To me, it seemed like she...
All I can say is that this is the most annoying trial I have ever watched. I can't even imagine how the jurors feel having to sit through this. I find myself tuning out .. shutting it off .. going back to watch later and fast forwarding through the annoying parts on the replay.
My thoughts .. it says "stock the bar for their wedding" .. so maybe they were having a special drink for their wedding. Like a "bride and groom" drink. They usually have some cute little name attached to the drink. Maybe they were going to have bourbon shots or some kind of special mix drink...
I just started following this case recently and have been trying to watch all the trials and get caught up. Do you know if they have ever verified that a TV repairman actually came to WA's that morning or is that just the code her mom used to let her know the guys were in town and the hit would...
Another thought .. It could be as simple as he wanted to leave behind a "clue" or a "mark" that he didn't ever think could be traced back to him. Like not even thinking that an unspent bullet could have markings that would match to the type of gun he owned. I know I never knew anything like that...
As for me personally .. I would be thankful that my loved one was in solitary so I didn't worry constantly about someone else hurting him while he was awaiting trial. I've heard so many stories about prison, I think that would be my biggest concern. MOO
Thank you so much, Cool Cats! I'm not sure if it's lack of sleep or old age, but I seen the post above yours and paid no attention to the date. Hence my confusion about him not being sentenced yet. I'm sure I even watched the sentencing .. so now I feel like I'm loosing my mind a little bit. o_O...
