Abby & Libby - The Delphi Murders - Richard Allen Arrested - #180

Well articulated! Realizing how our system of justice 'works'; court case has prosecution's strictures while defense tactics undermine "nothing but the truth". (Admitted here once that I was knocked off jury panel quickly over this view.) Interest in cases for me is the psychology and...

I remember when we were discussing RA's developing photos at CVS. We recalled here that it was true he said "no charge" for the family's photo order of the girls to Mike Patty. Have I missed post(s) reviving current interest in pharmacy per se? Wouldn't photography be more likely related to the...

You speak for me; saying this to myself each time I log off. "Plea, please!".

Thank you for clearly addressing 'RL' issue again in fairness. If only this post could be "once and for all." His misdeeds have been aired many times, though no evidence of his involvement in the murders. He visited the scene, he may have known more. The FBI woman investigator admitted loading...

Seven years into this I occasionally post again (realizing some are newer to the history) that when Abby's mother Anna gave a TV interview from a lawn chair in her backyard, she said that LE offered her a chance to view/hear the rest recorded on the phone. She declined, not wanting to hear the...

I just came across this I just came across this and admire the relevance. It's late at night PST and yet after seven years (!) we still bring hearts and minds to insights here. Still putting the "sleuths" in "Web sleuths".

I'm completely in agreement. I expect light will/would be shed in trial, so would rather RA plead and spare the families further grief.

Cannot forget that 'surprise' Kline search when a bag of phones was eventually found in their attic; then one phone being searched for appeared 'magically' placed on the microwave later: surprise! It had been wiped. Maybe RA didn't have one known phone "with him"? Perhaps phone(s) found in...

More than one person involved? Or, individuals have varied perceptions of visuals, especially in passing by. In early school I witnessed a "crime," and was almost kidnapped; myself alongside another girl. We were questioned separately and I realized when fully adult that what I actually saw...

Agree. The documentary this week made clear the posturing. Accepting needed help would be wise during seven years.

GUILTY CA - Mark & Jacob Iskander, 11 and 9, Killed by Drunk Socialite Rebecca Grossman in Veh vs Ped Hit & Run - Los Angeles, 2020 *GUILTY on all counts*

We follow this case covered in print edition of the LATImes. There has been a report of each day court was in session, and we're far South of Los Angeles. Try the 'paper' online. (First time here, following another case on WS day by day.)

Yes to your inquiry on 'tracing phones' data. In Susan Hendricks' book "Down the Hill" she outlines how GEOFENCE technology works, and would be applicable for confirming details being presented sequentially in court.

I'm reading a public library copy of "Down the Hill" by Susan Hendricks, CNN reporter, c. 2023. She subtitles her "descent into the double murder in Delphi", describing interviews with "people at the heart of the story". Paul Holes cover blurb says we'll never look at this case the same way...

(Not able to graphically place these two comments correctly) Yes, let's see in a courtroom, when such day finally arrives, why it has taken more than seven years to bring forth all that Doug Carter has known for so long. "Do tell"...

This is one helpful kind of post for me. I hang around when legal matters are explained, though usually simply trusting others' explanations and reactions. This analogy sheds light...finally. (Retired from career that only involved a dab of copyright law.)

These are the questions! I believe RA diverted, delivered the girls; so when overwrought (fearful/exhausted) confesses, he's "same as" being the killer. Probably (2) others waited. By the time RA's jury is deliberating, I'd bet we'll all know who, as A-Shots, was waiting.

I've been intending to post similarly, in that I read frequent attorneys' posts, counting on them to monitor legality. I identify, too, as one who weighs evidence hypothetically here; yet real life jury experience frustrated. Whew,"People think differently."

I don't have every answer, so I narrow my reply to your questioning why many people are "thinking they have the wrong man." Since there has been an emphasis on all that was done, in the time taken at the murder scene, my interpretation of some inquiries is whether (or how?) one single person...
