Nothing terribly groundbreaking here but the investigators comments about people theyve interviewed not being truthful are interesting IMO.
Apparently, the man in the sketch is also the same person described in the BOLO which isnt too surprising but interesting in light of Walters comments...
Just heard about Ashleys case on brain scratch. Makes me sick her poor parents cant find their daughter or see their grand baby.

I just saw the post from Jennas dad. Im infuriated and so sad for this poor family. The Atlanta area LE agencies involved in this case should be ashamed of themselves. Theres simply no excuse.

It seems like the sketchy roommate should know something! Im still shocked LE didnt have some serious concern about the apartment situation after their first encounter with the roommate.

LE told the family she was found when she wasnt. And they just got phone pings from one of her phones in January! Not to mention, failing to interview key POIs/witnesses for weeks. Not doing forensics on moms car or the house.
I dont see any of these things as standard procedure.

Oh, I am so glad they finally arrested someone! I hope Tesss family takes at least some comfort in knowing this monster is off the streets now.
The August incident is incredibly odd...

In the hearing Thursday, Circuit Judge Jan Shackelford ruled the state's evidence and witnesses were not compelling enough to keep McArthur in custody indefinitely, and she imposed a $400,00 bond with extensive conditions.
Umm... is this a joke? Evidence and witnesses not compelling enough...
So Im still confused about these different POIs but being reminded that the townhouse was behind Jennas apartment makes me wonder if she was possibly (informally) living/staying with this guy(or another guy) and her apartment was more of a place to store some stuff(and to keep her parents...
If her phone connected to the home WiFi, no one wouldve needed a password to access it if they had her phone. I always assumed it was just accessed via the app on her phone but maybe Im wrong.

The rape itself occurred at a residence and it sounds like a date rape drug was involved. He came and found her on the floor in the bathroom at the bar trying to call a friend, took her phone, got her in his car and took her to his(or someones) condo.
Im so grateful I made it through college...
Interestingly, I read about a rape case near me on Facebook and the girl was drugged by a man pretending to be gay at a gay bar. It makes sense as a place for predators because it would be so unexpected but Id never considered it before reading about Tesss case. It makes me think his plan may...
I think the collection of random young male DNA samples is a bit concerning personally. I felt the same way until I heard that. I hope Im wrong and they have a person or people they are looking at.

That makes me think he couldve led her that way. Especially the fact that its really dark.
The description the witness gave gives me the creeps. Its so sad that a sober person that encountered them isnt able to provide more info. Its not her fault of course, but frustrating nonetheless...
I had stopped looking at his page but looked last night and found SSs screenshots of their convos to be particularly illuminating. They show a history of issues with at least one ex boyfriend, deep depression, family issues, etc. They also show what a kind hearted person she was.
I agree that...
Lush, those pictures are great. I think they could definitely be helpful.
I have to say that they are going to give me nightmares though! [emoji15]

Nocturnal, my thoughts about all this are similar to yours. Now I do not think SSs behavior after Natalie said she no longer wanted to be friends was acceptable in any, way, shape or form. I think a lot of his issues about that(and why he got stuck in the loop) was he was angry at himself for...
