Agreed on the godlike. Definitely don't think he views LE as "smarter" than him. I just keep going back to how long he planned the crime, & what the connection to that house was. I believe only he will ever know the "why."
A lot of functioning addicts on H out there. You may not know they're even doing it till they take it too far one day. I've had 2 friends OD. Didn't know till they were dead & buried they ever had a habit.
I may be projecting (likely), but I swear there's a smile there, very slight, around the eyes & mouth. Almost confrontational about the accusation.
I believe he wanted to get caught, but he may have envisioned it taking a whole lot longer than it did. He could have flown to a nonextradition...
Wait, sociopaths can't get a college degree? Antisocial personality disordered folks can't follow a course of study? Do you know how many of them head up Fortune 500 companies? Have you read The Sociopath Next Door?
Definitely would look like the opposite of what he did, a tight study with lots of supervision & planning.
Prisoner participation research studies obviously do exist, however.
It's just not clever though. The way an innocent person most often behaves when confronted & accused has been repeated endlessly on true crime shows. Cops say it again & again how people who did nothing raise hell, keep asking things like "What's this all about." And I've heard many times LE say...
And so you're standing in your bedroom in your boxer shorts, woken out of a deep sleep, confused, disoriented, frightened, shocked as hell, surrounded by 20 uniformed officers of various agencies combing through your childhood home, your parents looking on, frantic as you're provided the reason...
I was to teach college. Administrators are getting more careful. Let's hope his prints are on file & there's a match to the crime scene(s). There must be DNA there, somewhere, somehow. A hair at least.
About his "study" - usually Masters & Doctoral candidates first need to attend at least one training to learn protocols around the ethics of working with "human subjects."
It seems to me a social media study anyone could make up answers to is worthless as scholarly research. Were he genuinely...
Yes, thank you, if cookware has animal anything in it we won't eat from it, depending how strict we are. I do hope his diet doesn't give us all a bad name to some. It's simply a diet. Whatever he ate, I'm one State down from Idaho myself & tremendously relieved he (if guilty) got nailed. Can't...
Not a lot of ways "ran up and down the sidewalk, he proceeded to hit her" can be spun. This is at 45 seconds into the 911 call.
The 911 caller was disturbed enough by the encounter to report it. Caller doesn't mention Gabby hitting him. The aggressor is B.
In fact, one of the LE came right out & said the couple would be continuing on "anyway." "Anyway" was the word he used. All considered, they handled it well. It's a shame, imo, they didn't know about any prior calls about the assault at the Moonflower. Hindsight is 20/20, & they have a hard job...
No. Your words: "LE did it that way to give her an out of the relationship with her van."
As I said, the hotel was assigned to B only because they couldn't give it to G. Go back & look at the video. G was left with the van *only* because LE couldn't give it to B for the night.
LE actually preferred to give the hotel room to Gabby, & one of the officers called a supervisor to get permission to do so. His request to his supervisor to give her the room, not B, was turned down because G was the "suspect," or primary aggressor. This is said outright in the bodycam footage...
I think there will be a full autopsy, as hard as it is to imagine. I think LE will insist on it. Who knows what the full extent of the book of charges are they can try to pin him with, imo. But I gotta say, if I ever go missing, I want this crew at WS to hunt me down. There is *nothing* some of...
