There is an interesting tidbit towards the end of the news story. His half-brother Steven went missing in 2017 and is still missing. I wonder if there is any connection or if he’s still alive, out there somewhere. JMO

The perpetrator could be a relative (not sons or husband) or maybe she was a victim of domestic violence in the past and he was in prison and then released. JMO

There have been two arrests in connection with her disappearance but no news on if she has been found alive or deceased.
