    I agree. What was the motive? if it wasn't a random carjacking or robbery, what was it? Why would anyone want to make Alan disappear? As many have stated, if it was random crime of opportunity I feel that they would have most likely found him by now. Or at least there would be CCTV footage...

    What about Alan's phone? It is still missing, along with Alan. Shouldn't LE have already tried to see the location where it last 'pinged'? or at least subpoenaed his phone records to check his last communication/location? This is a big piece of the puzzle that is missing.
