Whether this is true or not (and what I have read of their upbringings in msms, not - IMO), the law will not allow it as an excuse for murdering in cold blood. Quite rightly, I think. It would have course be taken into account during sentencing and assessed as whether relevant or not.

It does seem possible. I would just add that too fast doesn’t need to be over the speed limit for that stretch of road. So much judgement we need to apply as drivers and unfortunately that comes with experience. Added to an unfamiliar road and terrible driving conditions, tragic combination.
They will all be pensioners when they get out, if ever.
What‘s the point of this lifestyle, which effectively just takes lives away? Hopefully this sends a strong message out there. We can only hope.
If there are no ANPR hits to guide them, guessing they must be off busier routes. I’ve been to that area and some of the roads are very twisty and narrow.
