I think it’s either one or two, he’s a sex offender why are we thinking he didn’t abduct and kill Leah? Or he’s covering for someone else, he’s totally capable of doing it himself.
It would be interesting to see if it’s scenario two, because wouldn’t family and friends have been alerted - or...
I guess we don’t know for sure it was her crying by the lake? To expand, it could have been anyone staying in area, out jogging or walking and received a bad phone call? Maybe they don’t live in area or not been aware of the media after she disappeared so never came forward to be ruled out?
Trouble is there are sex offenders living in our community - some who have child *advertiser censored* or whatever and some who have attacked in the past. Is there away of keeping tabs on every single one of them? Once their convictions are spent too. Is he just another one who has slipped through the net like...
Maybe because it’s directly on her route, it seems most logical he was there and that’s where he abducted her, rather than somewhere else on the route and then have to bring her back or murdered her elsewhere and risk being seen. I just assumed he was staying there secretly, but yes he could...
Also if grabbed from behind and something out over her mouth, or chloroform she couldn’t have reacted. I’ve seen female judoists being overpowered by men , who are taller and stronger.
Yeah and I also think sex offenders’ crimes tend to escalate and maybe he had no reason to kill before. But I think if he’d released her, she’d have enough information that he probably go to prison for the rest of his life. That’s another reason I think he’s lured her into the actual house...
Also, the body was found on Monday and they matched her items. They then moved pretty quickly to determine what links there were with that house. Four days later they have very positively come out and named him as number one suspect. They must have enough information on him to do this (okay...
I think another possibility is “my dog is sick can you help me get him in van” or some such scenario may have lured her. But we’ll never actually know . (And I’m not saying he has a dog!!)
Yeah but wouldn’t it be drummed into her about accepting lifts from strangers? As someone said before, she is actually passing the house, it wouldn’t need for him to wait in a car etc. though I’m not saying it may not have happened like that either. Who knows what she was thinking?
I agree it’s a coincidence and as I said previously the night before and secret relationship is probably a huge red herring that took up a lot of police time. I agree they’ve maybe exchanged hello or other brief words although Leah being shy she may not have? But he’s been able to lure her...
Thinking about it, I guess it’s the idea she was meeting someone the night before that had taken up so much police enquiry time. I can’t remember the percentage but isn’t it very high that someone who is murdered knows their murderer, or police assumed she’d disappeared at hands of someone she...
I agree the idea of them is far fetched, but the comment re mum saying she’s into children’s films. Teenagers, remember she’s a young 19 year old, sometimes do hide stuff from the parents, and maybe give them one image, when they are secretly doing some thing else. Like seeing a married man ...
