I was wondering the same thing. Appealing sentence due to intimidation to confess. Or due to trauma in childhood, etc. It's definitely not over yet is it. Wonder if the appeal will throw up some new evidence...
On the subject of CCTV, has the footage of Aaron leaving his home at 1.54 am ever been shown? Just wondered if anyone has seen it. I expect it was shown in court as evidence but don't know if it has ever been made public?

I thought he would appeal. Maybe he will use the fact he's still a child as a reason why it should be reduced. Don't be surprised if he gets a successful appeal.

Yes, I feel sorry for the jury in this case too. Haven't experienced jury service like yourself. Can't imagine how much of a responsibility that would be. I know someone (obviously they couldn't tell me any details at all) who has been called to jury service three times.

Poor Georgina. I don't know if I would have been able to not cry had I been there in court. Bad enough watching it on livestream. Wonder how the Judge and legal teams keep it together when it's intense like that. Discipline I suppose.
