Yea, you're right, but they basically drove by those to drop her off at Hatch Park, which makes me think they were headed to east NSL or probably Bountiful.

I'd say the 'main' park nearby is Bountiful City Park, because it has a pool, but that's about 5 miles up the road. A similar park nearby I know well is North Canyon Park. It also has tennis courts, like Hatch Park, but Hatch Park is the only park nearby that has open basketball courts.

As compared to something like Liberty Park in SLC, it doesn't tend to draw folks from other towns/cities beyond Bountiful.

Depends on intention, but West of Hatch park (under the freeway) is basically nothing of interest. It's essentially a mildly industrial park with a few newer subdivisions. After a few miles you hit the edge of the Great Salt Lake. My money would be on going to one of the nice houses up above...
