No, you’re correct. It wasn’t volunteers from the community it was searchers with TEXSAR who have already been trained...they are not paid and I guess that’s where I was getting confused with volunteers....sorry....yes, I think you would have to be a really good rider to be on a horse searching...

Actually they did reschedule it to Friday, Saturday and Sunday Feb. 26-Feb. 28....Texsar is the group who conducted the search with over 100 volunteers, horses, K9’s, helicopters and drones....

Would a cellphone jammer cause a cellphone to not ping or leave a digital footprint? Just wondering...

I still wonder why he didn’t pull over somewhere and try to find his phone if he had dropped it at the intersection? There was a park nearby..... Or was the phone between the seat and console because of the wreck?

Yes, but wouldn’t he have pulled over at some point to look for his phone? There was a park near there where he could have pulled over or anywhere? Why would he drive 5 miles down a dirt/gravel road without looking for his phone...I mean it’s possible but just doesn’t make sense.....

I wonder where the photo of JL without a shirt on was taken? You know the photo they put out before these last photos? I wonder why he had his shirt off in it? Was this a Snapchat photo?

Good points, but the main thing that makes me think he was going home or back to Missouri City was that he brought his pet betta fish with him in a tumbler. If he had planned on going back to his apt. in SM after this meeting/rendezvous I think he would have left the fish there....JMO...

I’m not sure....I’m still confused as to the 67 minute window with no digital imprint even though his phone was turned on and had a signal as they reported. Maybe he was driving and not using his phone......?

I thought that they had pretty much claimed he was the one driving since it was his phone that pinged and he had actually snap chatted with someone while in Luling? I don’t believe this is in question anymore.....he drove from SM to the intersection in Luling where he was snapchatting....so I...

This definitely answers a lot of questions especially about the narcotics, blood found, and the clothes found. Could it be that his phone wasn’t used because he was driving down Salt Flat Road and then he crashed and couldn’t find his phone. It appears he just wandered away without clothes on...

Jason‘s family was told that his car was found around 12:30 Monday morning by a volunteer firefighter who was returning from a call. The family was also told that about an hour earlier an oil field worker drove by the same spot and did not see a thing. Dogs tracked a scent indicating Jason was...

They say “digital footprint” and not “ping”. A digital footprint can be a text, a photo, a video, a search online, or a like on Instagram or Facebook. So he left a digital footprint at the intersection and that was the last they heard from him? I wonder what it was? Did he send a text to...

Ok but we know he was there or rather his phone and car were there as his car was crashed about 5 miles from there and his phone was in the car...I’m not understanding how this is new info?

So I’m confused here....does this mean that his phone was not pinging for 67 minutes? Or is this some kind of other info that is coming out? Not real sure what to make of this....
