I did put it earlier but I do wonder if she took her outer clothes off to go for a swim (why? I have no idea)
Got out, put coat on as it’s so cold, then slipped in accidentally with the coat on/half on.
I agree @ginnyw if it was just cctv, walked to park, coat found in river, it would be more of a straightforward ‘guess’ as to what happened.
It’s the other things that went on. The cathedral stop off, the clothes and bag/phone/rings found ‘scattered’
Leaving work early - although I guess...
Not sure if this is new info or not. Taken from
Norwich Evening News :
They also have her access to her mobile phone which they will be "working through systematically".
The street with the recent cctv (St Augustine’s) is where I work.
That t-shirt shop kind of catches my eye whenever I walk past as it has an unusual massive screen printing machine and often a guy operating it.
The street isn’t Mega busy. It’s filled with independent shops, couple of cafes...
The land opposite they talked about is basically scrub land inbetween houses. Probably about 3 houses width maybe? It’s all over grown. I think it’s a building plot that’s been left for a while.
Ok I know they don’t alwasy give everything away but the Police officer who spoke seems adamant they don’t know what happened in the 30 mins in cathedral grounds. If this is true she must have avoided all cctv which is unlucky

Ok what about this scenario.
Something happens with a person she meets at the Cathedral, is it distressing or upsetting to GL. She goes off out of the city centre away from people, ends up at WP.
She decides for whatever reason to go for a swim, so she does this in her underwear. Gets half...
I am sorry for all the replies!! This is so close to home for me, based on the timeline she would have walked right past my work possibly just after I left (st Augustine’s st) I left about 3:15. Our cctv only covers the front porch area, doesn’t point outwards.
Re the Cathedral and the Police Statement; I think they know she didn’t go inside any of the buildings. Firstly they would have cctv I am sure, secondly their wording in the statement:
“We are particularly keen on hearing from anyone who may have seen Gaynor in the cathedral grounds which she...
The discussion about jumping in front of a car, honestly walking from Jarrolds through the city and ending up at Wensum Park. There is no road fast enough to jump in front of a car and it have fatal consequences.
Also the comments on praying before going off to Wensum Park, should would have passed a few other church’s that would be much quieter en route. The Cathedral is pretty busy this time of year.
@formerpolicestaff
Gaynor’s clothing, that she had been wearing when she went missing, including a white shirt, yellow tank top plus two rings and her mobile phone and glasses, were found in the park in various locations. Her olive-coloured coat was discovered in the water
I do feel like with the way the river is, it’s quite clear some days and you can see a LOT of weed. If you ended up in there it maybe hard to get out. It does also flow fairly steadily. A body could end up a log way down stream. As we know. IMOO
