I was reading the background of Simon Harwood (the police officer who was found to have unlawfully killed Ian Tomlinson) and there were multiple failures there - disciplinary proceedings not going ahead, him being allowed to resign and join another force before the conclusion of those...
I can't get my head around someone supposedly "normal" changing from normal to flasher to murderer in the space of a week. I don't think he has done this before. Maybe thought about it but maybe there has been some sort of "event" that triggered him to actually start committing offences.
Surely if there two incidents in the same place on the same night, that would warrant a more immediate response? I honestly think the Met's lack of investigation into crimes that are primarily against women, is going to result in a great deal of mistrust.

That sounds like victim blaming. Most people would not feel comfortable challenging what appears to be police.
That clip says it is from Lordship Lane (which is in East Dulwich in SE London).
Hi, I'm new but wanted to post as I've been following this thread from the start. I haven't actually been able to do any work for the last few days and promised myself I wouldn't start reading today!
My thoughts are that his hire car was picked up by the bus dashcam, traced due to whatever was...
