Found Deceased UK - Nicola Bulley Last Seen Walking Dog Near River - St Michaels on Wyre (Lancashire) #17

There seems to be an attitude from media and also the public in general that they are entitled to know every detail of everything and that experts are not to be trusted. There are people just waiting to criticise the police and others who are just doing their jobs. It’s not going to be perfect...

If they have found Nicola, I hope her family get the answers they need. Not too far from where she went missing, I wonder if they’ve searched that area before

Again I find myself disappointed by social media and the complete failure to moderate it effectively. The police have enough to do without having to deal with ghouls turning up at the site and the fools on FB and Twitter spouting their bile everywhere. The police and people looking for Nicola...

It’s the weir I think. The picture looks to have been taken in summer with the water level being low. There’s a stile next to the bench which gives access to that field. Down by the weir there is a building which has vehicle access via a gated track with access from allotment lane.

Isn’t there a kissing gate behind the bench with the stile to the side? Or has the stile been replaced with another kissing gate. It’s why I wondered about the phone. If the msm reports quoting witnesses are correct and the phone was on the floor, was it near the stile. I.E had it fallen out of...

Would a Fitbit keep its charge for 4 days? I had one a few years ago and it had to be charged quite often. Maybe every 2/3 days. The info on fitbit website says that certain Devices would keep charge for up to 4 days but if the device has GPS services switched on constantly then it will only...

That Lancs Live article doesn’t make a great deal of sense. “Also found her mobile phone on a bench. It was found under a tree…” So which was it? On the bench or under the tree? Did she find it on the bench or pick it up from under the tree and put it on the bench? If it was under the tree it...

The reference to the exit not covered by CCTV was it Garstang Rd via Allotment Lane or via or the exit at the other end of the walk (rowanwater)? I can see why they might be asking for info if it’s the allotment lane end. There looks to be vehicle access from Allotment Lane to a small building...

Sometimes with terraced houses the loft space is shared by several properties. I noted this when viewing a terraced house of a similar age. I discovered when looking at planning permissions that a property further down the same road had got permission to close theirs off. I wonder if it was the...

No idea. According to the linked article above, it appears that JK was told just before. Haven’t seen anything re SC.

It’ll have been designed to put pressure on those who the police think are responsible. Isn’t she in a relationship with one of the arrested men?

If the police are looking in the right place they’ll be quietly trying to work out which one of them has given the info. That’s another thing I’m wondering about. Has one of them spoken out, and if so, are they safe or did the info come from another source. It seems that a neighbour who owned...

CH has been spoken about before but appears to have been ruled out as it stands. I’m sure it could be revisited if there is any new evidence to link him. There’s always speculation when nobody has answers but the police seem pretty certain that it was someone in Claudias group of closer friends...

From the info I’ve seen, the houses on Heworth Road were built mid 1800s. Number 50 is noted as “letter receiving office” on the 1852 OS Map. They could well have shared loft spaces as some houses built around that time do not have dividing barriers in lofts. I viewed a number of similar age...

It was the one about having to do 12 long days in a row which, as far as I can tell from what I’ve read, was untrue. She also tended to end her messages with an ‘x’ and there wasn’t one. It might not mean anything but does seem a bit odd to be giving out the wrong info to someone who should know...

I think the night of the 18th. The last message from her phone (that we know about) seemed to be out of character and also containing wrong information. Did she send it hoping someone would realise it was wrong or did someone else send it to try and make sure nobody was overly concerned about...

Could these results possibly have been linked to a POI i.e if they were familiar with the area and used the fishing ponds or had a business nearby? Surely they wouldn’t just search it without having some kind of indication that it would be worthwhile

I’d be interested to know where the info came from. It could just be another diversion tactic. Reading up on accounts of people who’ve tried to investigate previously, it seems to be a theme. You’d hope the police wouldn’t make that mistake though, especially with the costs involved. I just...

True. You could equally link CH due to his interest in fishing. Like you say, the police are confident they know who was involved but need the evidence. Hopefully this time they find it.

If you look on the map and see the Spa Hotel, you’ll see a foopath coming from the bank up to its carpark. I think the area they are searching is between the footpath in the valley gardens and the properties on the bank. It is also accessible from the road via the hotel carpark. It’s a very...
