That's a good point. I'm going to assume, without any other information, that she was killed where she was found. Hasn't it been noted that the campsite they were at was highly populated? If so, wouldn't it be safe to assume that someone being killed out in the open would be heard?
I agree completely. The observer also described BL as "not screaming," which is a very strange way to describe someone who is yelling. Further, if he was "yelling," they would have been able to hear what was being said.
And they were high school sweethearts, which means most of their socializing was between themselves, especially considering he was possessive and didn't want her to go out without him.
Most of the reports use adjectives like "explosive," and "aggressive" but fail to include the bit that he was reportedly NOT yelling. I'd love to see an "explosive and aggressive" argument that didn't involve yelling. Sounds like a comedy bit, to be honest.
Why did it take the Petitos 11 days to report her missing? If I wasn't getting responses from my daughter, or her boyfriend, or her boyfriends parents...I would report that within one day. Just curious if this indicates there was unreported communication of some kind.
