I did say they might have been asked by the police not to do this, but I feel like the general public has forgotten about this case, and as such, it's more likely to pushed down the priority list. Higher profile cases will get more attention. If there were friends/members of the community out...
I agree on both points. Every time I go on Twitter or check here, I expect to see an update, some glimmer of hope, and I cannot believe it's been 9 months and nothing. And I wonder why her family and friends and community aren't raising more of a stink, why they're not out there demanding...
I've often wondered about EC's statements about time, because IIRC, she said this in early interviews, when she probably still wasn't thinking very clearly. Of course, LE knows what time she clocked out of work, and my understanding is that they do have footage of her leaving Henry's, getting...
LOL, I guess if this is something that you typically do, her behavior doesn't seem odd. And it seems you're far from the only one! But this is good for someone like me to know, because now I guess I can't say that it's totally odd for EC to react how she did.
She would have had to know KJ was in the park then, though, for that to be her reasoning. But that brings up another thought: did she know KJ was planning to go to the park? Is that why EC was so worried right away?
So, using your timeline, it was less than 15 minutes between the time EC got home and the time she left the apartment. You don't think it's a little weird to use Find my iPhone that quickly? To find a grown woman? You wouldn't try contacting anyone else first? Waiting a little longer? Maybe...
Sometimes hearing things gets me to thinking differently than reading things. DeDee posted this quite some time ago, but then I was listening to a story about this case and the host made an interesting point: why did EC go right into panic mode, using Find my iPhone, etc., when Katie didn't...
It's my random thoughts that get to me sometimes. So when I have nagging thoughts like the one about the crime scene, I have to look for answers. And something the guy said in that recent podcast got me to thinking that maybe it didn't happen where she was found. So I had to put it out there --...
I'm trying but failing to find the comment that said whether the entrance where she was found was accessible by vehicle. I thought someone said that it is, but I could be wrong -- maybe they said it's *not* and I'm mis-remembering.
Same, because I keep coming back to -- sorry -- what a mess the crime scene must have been. Katie fought back. She was stabbed more than 50 times. Her wounds were serious. It's incomprehensible to me that the area where she was found wouldn't have had to be roped off/blocked from the public if...
Mods, feel free to snip or delete if any of this isn't allowed...I want to open up a discussion but don't want to violate any rules.
I finished listening to the KJ episode of the Unresolved podcast, and it made me wonder something about the timeline and the location of the murder. We've all...
Good point that he (apparently) didn't ask her any more questions, unless the recording has been edited. I would have expected that, so he could have given the EMTs better instructions on where to go. And yeah, the fact that he just took her word for it that Katie was dead and didn't ask...
The ambulance might have been for Emma. The operator couldn't know what had happened, so he didn't know if she was hurt also. Also, he had no way of knowing that Katie was actually dead.
Here in Savannah, fire and police and ambulance all get dispatched to a scene at once, in case one is closer...
I'm listening to a podcast episode on the case, a podcast called Unresolved, and the entire 911 call is played. I don't think this has been covered in here before... does anyone else find it odd that EC can't/doesn't tell the 911 operator exactly where they are? She says "at the entrance to...
What gets me about this case every time I think about it, is -- and I'm sorry if this is graphic -- how messy/gory the crime scene must have been, and how the park was open for business as usual just days later. Wasn't there some kind of event held there, not long after? That's what makes me...
